Its something special - we just use a good local flour, a good local yeast and the recipe Thomas has used for more than 30 years. It cost les than 0,50 € to make, so all sh...

For many guests, Tram 28E is their first real contact with Lisbon’s hills. The route passes through some of our favourite viewpoints and neighbourhood corners, but it can feel overwhelming if you hit it at the wrong time. We’ve put together a straightforward guide with local advice from the team: when to go, where to get on, what to watch out for, and what to do if you’d rather walk or take a quieter line.

Bairro Padre Cruz is one of those spots we recommend to guests who’ve already explored Alfama, Baixa and LX Factory and still want more. It’s raw, residential and very real – with massive pieces by both Portuguese and international artists on the sides of apartment blocks. The scale alone makes it worth the trip, but the atmosphere of a normal day in the neighbourhood is part of the charm too. Our new post gives a small introduction.

We see many groups where only part of the gang plays golf. The others use Tings as their city base: exploring viewpoints, tram rides, markets, bookshops, galleries and long lunches while someone else is on the fairways. By late afternoon everyone meets again for sunset drinks and dinner in the neighbourhood. Lisbon works beautifully when you want both: serious golf and a city your non‑golf friends will love.

From coastal links to parkland courses, discover championship layouts designed by golfing legends like Robert Trent Jones and Seve Ballesteros.
