Winter time is maintenance time 💪🏼 First big job is done and that was renewing (a big part) of the roof of A Casa & The Farmhouse. It was needed because it was, like we say in Holland… ‘leak as a basket’ 😅🙈☔️ now upcoming days, rain is forecasted so bring it onnnnn!

It took a bit longer than expected but with much pleasure we can say that A Casa will officially be open for guests from the 12th of July 🥰🤗💛

A Casa is the mainhouse of Palmeira and suitable for a max of 4 guests. With its big private garden you can spend your time how you like it. Outdoor dining, reading a book in a lounge chair or just having a nap in the hammock. The salt water pool is just around the corner and the chickens and ducks will have a talk with you all day 😋
Guests are free to pick any fruit of the season and the chickens and ducks provide the yummiest eggs every day.
Tucked away in the orchard and yet not even a 5 minutes drive to Barril (10 minute bike ride, 30 minute walk) and close Tavira, Fuseta and Olhão.

We are working hard on the third holiday accommodation at Palmeira Guesthouse and this will be the one with the cozy fire place 🔥🥰 ‘A Casa’ will welcome her first guests on the 15th of December. From the 3rd of January it has full availability as it’s not listed online yet. So don’t wait too long to book 😄 A little sneak preview of the kitchen…. What do you think?

Yesss 😍 The Farmhouse got an upgrade on the terrace. It is now covered for more privacy and with our mild winters coming up, during rain you can still cook outside in the outdoor kitchen. Happy days 🥰

The Farmhouse is getting an upgrade!
Also this terrace will be covered, so even in the winter when it rains but the temperature is mild, you can cook outside 🥰
Results in a few days!
So yes… from now, the farmhouse will also be available for winter! 🌞

Let’s try something different! 🙃
We all know the wine and olive oil tastings but what about vinagre tasting?!
Last week we had the honor to meet the ambitious David from Fateixa vinagre in Algoz.
He told us everything about the making of different vinagres and how to use them in the kitchen and even in cocktails 🍹🥰 He loves experimenting with all kinds of fruits and herbs in the vinagre.
We loved it!
