Dag 17 – De terugreis
Na een rustige ochtend vol inpakken en controleren van tickets en paspoorten, komen Boo en Harley aan op het vliegveld van Faro. Hun koffers worden ingecheckt en samen wachten ze geduldig op hun boardingpassen. Alles voelt een beetje anders… het einde van een bijzondere reis komt dichtbij.
Ze lopen door de controle bij de douane en nemen daarna nog even de tijd om te ontspannen. Bij de duty free zoeken ze een rustig plekje en bestellen iets lekkers te drinken. Nog één momentje samen genieten.
Dan klinkt de oproep: boarding is begonnen.
Boo en Harley kijken elkaar even aan… het is echt zover.
In het vliegtuig worden ze vriendelijk begroet door stewardess Shayenne. Met een vrolijke glimlach heet ze hen welkom. Boo en Harley geven haar een cadeautje: 7 heerlijke pastéis de nata. Shayenne is zichtbaar verrast en dankbaar – wat een lieve geste.
Niet veel later stijgt het vliegtuig op. Portugal verdwijnt langzaam onder hen, terwijl ze terugkijken op alle mooie avonturen die ze hebben beleefd.
Tijdens de vlucht komt Shayenne nog even langs met een warm bordje kip met groente. Na het eten voelen Boo en Harley de vermoeidheid van alle belevenissen. Langzaam vallen ze tegen elkaar aan in slaap… dromend van stranden, vrienden, muziek en zon.
Deze vakantie…
is er één om nooit meer te vergeten ❤️🐾

Day 17 – The return journey

After a quiet morning filled with packing and checking tickets and passports, Boo and Harley arrive at Faro airport. Their suitcases are checked in, and together they wait patiently for their boarding passes. Everything feels a little different… the end of a special journey is drawing near.
They walk through customs and then take a moment to relax. At the duty-free, they find a quiet spot and order something nice to drink. Just one more moment to enjoy together.
Then the announcement sounds: boarding has begun.
boo and Harley look at each other for a moment… it really is time. On the plane, they are greeted warmly by flight attendant Shayenne. With a cheerful smile, she welcomes them. Boo and Harley give her a gift: 7 delicious pastéis de nata. Shayenne is visibly surprised and grateful – what a sweet gesture.
Not much later, the plane takes off. Portugal slowly disappears beneath them as they look back on all the beautiful adventures they have experienced. During the flight, Shayenne stops by with a warm plate of chicken and vegetables. After dinner, Boo and Harley feel the fatigue from all their adventures. Slowly, they fall asleep cuddled up against each other… dreaming of beaches, friends, music, and sun. This vacation… is one to never forget ❤️🐾

Dag 17 – Dag van vertrek
De zon schijnt nog zachtjes door de gordijnen wanneer Boo en Harley wakker worden. Het voelt anders dan de andere ochtenden… rustiger, maar ook een beetje weemoedig. Vandaag is de dag van vertrek.
Op hun gemak beginnen ze met inpakken. Hun spulletjes worden zorgvuldig verzameld: speeltjes, riempjes en natuurlijk de lekkere chocolaatjes die ze hebben meegekregen. Alles krijgt een plekje in de tas. Daarna controleren ze samen nog een keer hun tickets en paspoorten – alles netjes bij de hand.
Er hangt een rustige sfeer, maar ook een gevoel van dankbaarheid. Wat hebben ze veel meegemaakt… van stranddagen tot gezellige etentjes en nieuwe vriendschappen.
Dan is het moment daar. Buiten staat de bus al te wachten. Eén voor één komen hun vakantievrienden en hondenvriendjes naar buiten. Er wordt geknuffeld, gezwaaid en zelfs een traantje weggepinkt. 🐶❤️
Boo staat trots maar een beetje stil, terwijl Harley nog even enthousiast rondloopt om iedereen gedag te zeggen.
Langzaam stappen ze de bus in…
Nog één keer kijken ze achterom. Hun vrienden zwaaien hen uit, kleiner en kleiner in de verte.
De bus rijdt weg… richting Faro.
Op naar huis… met een koffer vol herinneringen 🧳✨

Day 17 – Day of Departure

The sun is still shining softly through the curtains when Boo and Harley wake up. It feels different from the other mornings… quieter, but also a little wistful. Today is the day of departure.
At their leisure, they begin packing. Their belongings are carefully gathered: toys, leashes, and of course, the tasty chocolates they were given. Everything finds a place in the bag. Then, together, they check their tickets and passports one last time – everything neatly at hand.
There is a calm atmosphere, but also a sense of gratitude. They have experienced so much… from beach days to cozy dinners and new friendships. Then the moment arrives. The bus is already waiting outside. One by one, their vacation friends and doggy friends come out. There is hugging, waving, and even a tear or two is shed.
🐶❤️ Boo stands proudly but still for a moment, while Harley walks around enthusiastically to say hello to everyone. Slowly they step onto the bus… They look back one last time. Their friends wave them goodbye, getting smaller and smaller in the distance. The bus drives away… towards Faro. Off home… with a suitcase full of memories 🧳✨

Dag 16 – avond in VRSA (Vila Real de Santo António)
Na een heerlijke dag vol chocolade en herinneringen besluiten Boo en Harley dat hun avontuur nog niet voorbij is. “We moeten écht nog een fadonavond meemaken,” zegt Boo enthousiast. Harley kwispelt instemmend – dat hoort bij Portugal!
Als de zon langzaam ondergaat, wandelen ze samen door de sfeervolle straatjes van Vila Real de Santo António. De warme verlichting, het zachte geroezemoes van mensen en de geur van lekker eten brengen meteen een bijzondere sfeer.
Ze vinden een gezellig restaurantje waar net een fadonacht begint. Binnen is het knus, met kaarslicht op de tafels en een kleine groep muzikanten klaar om te spelen. Boo en Harley krijgen een mooi plekje vooraan – alsof het zo moest zijn.
Ze bestellen iets lekkers:
🍽️ gegrilde vis voor Boo
🍗 een klein stukje kip voor Harley
🥔 met heerlijke bijgerechten
(en natuurlijk krijgen ze ook iets speciaals van het huis 🐾)
Dan begint de muziek…
De zangeres zet een fado in, vol gevoel en melancholie. Het is stil in het restaurant. Boo kijkt rustig om zich heen, zijn oren gespitst. Harley kruipt iets dichter tegen hem aan. Ze voelen het allebei: dit is bijzonder.
De muziek vertelt verhalen van heimwee, liefde en herinneringen… precies wat bij hun reis past.
Af en toe kijken mensen glimlachend naar Boo en Harley – twee trouwe vrienden die samen deze mooie momenten beleven.
Aan het einde van de avond krijgen ze zelfs een klein applausje van de muzikanten.
“Voor onze speciale gasten van vanavond,” zegt de zanger met een knipoog.
Boo en Harley kijken elkaar aan.
Wat een dag… en wat een herinnering.
🐾✨ Morgen weer een nieuwe dag, maar deze avond vergeten ze nooit.

Day 16 – Evening in VRSA (Vila Real de Santo António) After a wonderful day full of chocolate and memories, Boo and Harley decide that their adventure isn't over yet. “We really have to experience a fadon evening,” says Boo enthusiastically. Harley wags her tail in agreement – that’s part of Portugal!

As the sun slowly sets, they walk together through the atmospheric streets of Vila Real de Santo António. The warm lighting, the soft murmur of people, and the smell of delicious food immediately create a special atmosphere. They find a cozy little restaurant where a fado night is just beginning. Inside, it is snug, with candlelight on the tables and a small group of musicians ready to play. Boo and Harley get a nice spot at the front – as if it were meant to be. They order something tasty:

🍽️ grilled fish for Boo
🍗 a small piece of chicken for Harley
🥔 with delicious side dishes (and of course, they also get something special on the house 🐾)
Then the music starts… The singer launches into a fado, full of emotion and melancholy. It is quiet in the restaurant. Boo looks around calmly, his ears pricked up. Harley snuggles a little closer to him. They both feel it: this is special. The music tells stories of homesickness, love, and memories… exactly what suits their journey. Every now and then, people look at Boo and Harley with a smile – two loyal friends experiencing these beautiful moments together.

At the end of the evening, they even receive a small round of applause from the musicians. “For our special guests of tonight,” says the singer with a wink. Boo and Harley look at each other. What a day… and what a memory. 🐾✨ Tomorrow is another new day, but they will never forget this evening.

Dag 16 – Zoete herinneringen in Vila Real 🍫🐾
De dagen beginnen langzaam op te raken… nog maar een paar nachtjes en dan zit het avontuur van Boo en Harley in Portugal er helaas op. Terwijl de ochtendzon zacht over Monte Gordo schijnt, kijken ze elkaar aan. “We moeten nog één ding doen…” lijkt Boo te denken. En Harley kwispelt meteen enthousiast. Tijd voor iets speciaals!
Ze stappen samen richting Vila Real de Santo António, waar een heel bijzondere winkel op hen wacht: een chocoladewinkel waar óók honden welkom zijn. En niet zomaar chocolade… nee, hier maken ze hondenchocolade – veilig én heerlijk! 🍫🐶
Zodra ze binnenkomen, worden ze vrolijk begroet door Dasy, een klein lief hondje dat daar “werkt”. Met een schortje om en een trotse blik loopt ze heen en weer alsof ze de baas van de winkel is. Ze brengt Boo en Harley naar een gezellig plekje.
“Welkom! Wat mag het zijn vandaag?” lijkt Dasy te zeggen, terwijl ze hen een schaaltje met speciale hondenchocolade voorschotelt.
Boo proeft voorzichtig… en zijn ogen worden groot.
Harley hoeft geen tweede uitnodiging – die geniet met volle teugen! 😄
Daar, aan een klein tafeltje tussen de geur van chocolade en het zachte geroezemoes van de winkel, pakken Boo en Harley hun moment. Ze beginnen aan hun reisverslag. Alles komt voorbij:
de lange strandwandelingen 🌊
het spelen met hun vriendjes 🐕
de bakfietsrit 🚲
het verrassende restaurant met hun naam 🍽️
en alle nieuwe avonturen die ze samen beleefden
Af en toe stoppen ze even… kijken elkaar aan… en glimlachen (ja, dat kunnen ze 😉). Want hoewel het einde nadert, voelen ze vooral dankbaarheid.
Dasy komt nog even langs met een laatste chocolaatje en zegt:
“Geniet nog van jullie laatste dagen… en kom zeker nog eens terug!”
Boo en Harley knikken. Dat gaan ze zeker doen. 💛
Met een warm gevoel en een hoofd vol herinneringen stappen ze weer naar buiten. De zon staat hoog, en de lucht ruikt naar zee en zomer.
De laatste dagen… die gaan ze extra bijzonder maken. 🌅🐾

Day 16 – Sweet memories in Vila Real

🍫🐾 The days are slowly running out… just a few more nights and then Boo and Harley’s adventure in Portugal will unfortunately be over. As the morning sun shines softly over Monte Gordo, they look at each other. “We have one more thing to do…” Boo seems to be thinking. And Harley immediately wags his tail enthusiastically. Time for something special! They head together towards Vila Real de Santo António, where a very special shop awaits them: a chocolate shop where dogs are welcome too. And not just any chocolate… no, here they make dog chocolate – safe and delicious!

🍫🐶 As soon as they enter, they are cheerfully greeted by Dasy, a sweet little dog who “works” there. Wearing a little apron and with a proud look, she walks back and forth as if she were the boss of the shop. She takes Boo and Harley to a cozy spot. “Welcome! What can I get for you today?” "Dasy seems to say, as she serves them a small bowl of special dog chocolate. Boo tastes cautiously… and his eyes widen. Harley doesn't need a second invitation – he is enjoying himself to the fullest!

😄 There, at a small table amidst the scent of chocolate and the soft murmur of the shop, Boo and Harley seize their moment. They begin writing their travelogue. Everything is covered: the long walks on the beach
🌊 playing with their friends
🐕 the cargo bike ride
🚲 the surprising restaurant named after them 🍽️ and all the new adventures they experienced together

Every now and then they stop for a moment… look at each other… and smile (yes, they can do that 😉). For although the end is approaching, they feel mostly gratitude. Dasy stops by with one last chocolate and says: “Enjoy your last days… and be sure to come back again!” Boo and Harley nod. They certainly will. 💛 With a warm feeling and a head full of memories, they step back outside. The sun is high, and the air smells of the sea and summer. The last few days… they are going to make them extra special. 🌅🐾

Dag 15 – Het afscheidsfeest 🎶✨
De zon begint langzaam onder te gaan in Monte Gordo en de lucht kleurt zacht oranje en roze. Bij Boo.Harley Café & Restaurant is het al gezellig druk. Op het terras staan tafels vol met lachende mensen, glazen klinken tegen elkaar en de lampjes beginnen te twinkelen.
Boo en Harley zitten samen klaar voor hun laatste avond… een beetje moe van alle avonturen, maar vooral heel blij.
Dan komt Nino naar hen toe met een grote glimlach.
“Vanavond is jullie feestje!” zegt hij. “Speciaal voor jullie!”
Even later begint de muziek. 🎤
De zanger Vernon uit Curaçao pakt de microfoon en zijn warme stem vult het hele terras. Mensen beginnen te klappen… sommigen zelfs te dansen.
En dan… gebeurt het leukste moment van de avond.
Boo en Harley springen enthousiast op een stoel en beginnen vrolijk mee te “zingen” en te bewegen op de muziek. Het hele terras lacht en juicht. Harley maakt kleine danssprongetjes en Boo wiebelt vrolijk mee op het ritme. Iedereen filmt en klapt – ze zijn echte sterren! ⭐
Chef Carmelinda komt ondertussen langs met heerlijke hapjes:
zalm met zoete aardappel 🐟
en als toetje frisse yoghurt 🍦
Voor Boo en Harley natuurlijk ook een speciaal bordje!
De avond wordt steeds gezelliger. Mensen dansen, lachen en genieten.
Het voelt alsof iedereen samen één grote familie is.
Aan het einde van de avond wordt het even stil.
Nino heft zijn glas:
“Op Boo en Harley… bedankt voor alle mooie momenten!”
Iedereen klapt. 🥂
Boo en Harley kijken elkaar aan…
Wat een vakantie… wat een herinneringen…
Maar morgen… begint weer een nieuw avontuur. 💛

Day 15 – The Farewell Party

🎶✨ The sun is slowly beginning to set in Monte Gordo and the sky is turning soft orange and pink. At Boo.Harley Café & Restaurant, it is already pleasantly busy. The terrace is filled with smiling people, glasses clink together, and the lights begin to twinkle. Boo and Harley are sitting together, ready for their last evening… a little tired from all the adventures, but above all, very happy. Then Nino comes over to them with a big smile. “Tonight is your party!” he says. “Especially for you!” A moment later, the music starts.

🎤 The singer Vernon from Curaçao takes the microphone and his warm voice fills the entire terrace. People start clapping… some even dancing. And then… the best moment of the evening happens. Boo and Harley jump enthusiastically onto a chair and start happily “singing” along and moving to the music. The whole terrace laughs and cheers. Harley does little dance jumps and Boo happily wiggles along to the rhythm. Everyone is filming and clapping – they are true stars!

⭐ Meanwhile, Chef Carmelinda comes by with delicious appetizers: salmon with sweet potato 🐟 and for dessert, fresh yogurt 🍦 A special plate for Boo and Harley, of course! The evening is getting more and more fun. People are dancing, laughing, and enjoying themselves. It feels like everyone is one big family together. At the end of the evening, it falls quiet for a moment.
Nino raises his glass: “To Boo and Harley… thank you for all the beautiful moments!” Everyone claps.

🥂 Boo and Harley look at each other… What a vacation… what memories… But tomorrow… a new adventure begins again. 💛

Dag 15 – Deel 1: Een zonnige dag vol genieten 🌞⛴️🌊
De ochtend begint rustig…
Boo en Harley worden wakker met het zachte geluid van de zee in de verte. Na hun bijzondere dag gisteren voelen ze zich ontspannen en blij.
Na een lekker ontbijt is het tijd voor een nieuw avontuur.
Ze gaan naar de haven van Vila Real de Santo António, waar het pontje al klaar ligt.
🐶 Boo kijkt nieuwsgierig om zich heen
🐶 Harley staat vooraan, klaar om op ontdekking te gaan
Samen stappen ze op de boot richting Ayamonte, Spanje. Terwijl het pontje rustig over de rivier glijdt, voelen ze de frisse ochtendbries. Het water glinstert en de zon begint al lekker te schijnen.
Aan de overkant aangekomen wandelen ze door de gezellige straatjes van Ayamonte.
Smalle straatjes, kleurrijke huizen en kleine winkeltjes… overal valt iets te ontdekken.
Ze slenteren langs pleintjes, ruiken heerlijke geuren van versgebakken brood en genieten van de rustige Spaanse sfeer. Af en toe stoppen ze even om te kijken, te snuffelen of gewoon te genieten van het moment. 🐾
🌴 De middag: terug naar het strand van Monte Gordo
Na een fijne ochtend gaan ze weer terug naar Portugal en rijden door naar het strand van Monte Gordo.
En daar begint het echte genieten…
Zodra ze het zand voelen:
rennen Boo en Harley direct richting zee! 🐕💨
Ze spelen in de golven, springen door het water en rennen achter elkaar aan langs de kust.
Af en toe spatten ze elkaar nat en rollen ze van plezier in het zand.
Daarna is het tijd om te ontspannen…
Ze liggen samen in heerlijke strandstoelen onder een grote parasol ⛱️
De zon is warm, de zee ruist zacht op de achtergrond…
Een vriendelijke ober komt langs.
Boo en Harley bestellen iets lekkers:
🥥 fris kokoswater
Ze genieten rustig van hun drankje terwijl ze uitkijken over de zee.
Even helemaal niks… alleen relaxen.
Boo kijkt tevreden naar Harley.
Harley sluit even zijn ogen in de zon.
Wat een perfecte dag…
En ze hebben nog geen idee wat de avond gaat brengen… 🎶✨

Day 15 – Part 1: A sunny day full of enjoyment 🌞
⛴️🌊 The morning starts quietly… Boo and Harley wake up to the soft sound of the sea in the distance. After their special day yesterday, they feel relaxed and happy. After a delicious breakfast, it is time for a new adventure.
They head to the port of Vila Real de Santo António, where the ferry is already waiting. 🐶 Boo looks around curiously 🐶 Harley stands at the front, ready to go exploring Together they board the boat heading towards Ayamonte, Spain. As the ferry glides gently across the river, they feel the fresh morning breeze. The water glistens and the sun is already starting to shine brightly. Once on the other side, they stroll through the charming streets of Ayamonte. Narrow streets, colorful houses, and small shops… there is something to discover everywhere. They stroll past little squares, smell the delicious aromas of freshly baked bread, and enjoy the peaceful Spanish atmosphere. Every now and then, they stop for a moment to look around, sniff, or simply enjoy the moment.

🐾 🌴 The afternoon: back to Monte Gordo beach After a lovely morning, they head back to Portugal and drive on to Monte Gordo beach. And that is where the real enjoyment begins… As soon as they feel the sand: Boo and Harley run straight towards the sea! 🐕💨 They play in the waves, jump through the water, and run after each other along the coast. Every now and then, they splash each other and roll around in the sand with joy. Afterwards, it is time to relax…
They lie together in lovely beach chairs under a large parasol ⛱️ The sun is warm, the sea rustles softly in the background… A friendly waiter comes by. Boo and Harley order something tasty: 🥥 refreshing coconut water They quietly enjoy their drink while looking out over the sea. Just nothing at all… just relaxing. Boo looks at Harley with satisfaction. Harley closes his eyes in the sun for a moment. What a perfect day… And they have no idea yet what the evening will bring… 🎶✨

Dag 14 – De grote verrassing (vervolg)

Na hun heerlijke lunch bij Boo & Harley Café & Restaurant blijven Boo en Harley nog even lekker zitten op het terras. De zon zakt langzaam richting de zee en de sfeer wordt steeds gezelliger.
Eigenaar Nino komt bij hen aan tafel zitten met een glimlach.
“Ik heb nog iets leuks om jullie te vertellen,” zegt hij geheimzinnig.
Boo spitst zijn oren.
Harley kijkt nieuwsgierig op.
“Morgenavond hebben wij hier live muziek,” gaat Nino verder.
“Een geweldige zanger, Vernon uit Curaçao, komt optreden. Het wordt een hele gezellige avond… muziek, dansen, lekker eten.” 🎤🌴
Harley begint meteen enthousiast te kwispelen.
Boo kijkt even naar de ondergaande zon en dan weer naar Nino…
Nino knipoogt.
“Misschien is dat wel hét moment voor jullie om een mooi afscheidsfeestje te geven…”
Even wordt het stil.
Want ineens voelen Boo en Harley het allebei…
Hun vakantie loopt langzaam ten einde.
Ze denken aan alles wat ze hebben meegemaakt:
de boottocht, het strand, de avonturen, nieuwe vrienden…
Maar dan springt Harley op.
“Feestje!!!” lijkt hij te denken 😄
Boo moet lachen en knikt.
Ja… als het dan bijna voorbij is, dan doen ze het goed.
Een laatste avond om nooit te vergeten ✨
Nino staat op en zegt:
“Dan regel ik alles. Morgen wordt jullie avond.”
Terwijl de zon ondergaat en de lichtjes op het terras aangaan, kijken Boo en Harley elkaar aan.
Een beetje verdrietig…
maar vooral heel blij.
Morgen wordt bijzonder 💛🐶🎶

Day 14 – The Big Surprise (continued)

🎶🌅 After their delicious lunch at Boo & Harley Café & Restaurant, Boo and Harley stay seated on the terrace for a while. The sun is slowly sinking towards the sea, and the atmosphere is becoming increasingly cozy. Owner Nino joins them at their table with a smile. “I have something nice to tell you,” he says mysteriously. Boo pricks up his ears. Harley looks up curiously. “Tomorrow evening we have live music here,” Nino continues. “A great singer, Vernon from Curaçao, is coming to perform. It’s going to be a very fun evening… music, dancing, good food.” 🎤🌴 Harley immediately starts wagging his tail enthusiastically. Boo looks at the setting sun for a moment and then back at Nino… Nino winks. “Maybe that is the perfect moment for you to throw a nice farewell party…” It falls silent for a moment. Because suddenly Boo and Harley both feel it…
Their vacation is slowly coming to an end. They think about everything they have experienced: the boat trip, the beach, the adventures, new friends… But then Harley jumps up. “Party time!!!” he seems to be thinking 😄 Boo laughs and nods. Yes… if it’s almost over, then they are doing it right. A final evening never to be forgotten ✨ Nino stands up and says: “Then I’ll take care of everything. Tomorrow will be your evening.” As the sun sets and the lights on the terrace come on, Boo and Harley look at each other. A little sad… but mostly very happy. Tomorrow will be special 💛🐶🎶

Dag 14 – Afscheid en een grote verrassing
De ochtend begint rustig en gezellig. Boo en Harley worden wakker tussen hun nieuwe vriendjes bij de doggy daycare. Nog een laatste knuffel, een speels blafje en wat vrolijk gewaggel door het gras.
Maar dan is het moment daar… afscheid nemen.
Alle hondenvriendjes staan bij de poort en zwaaien Boo en Harley uit. Het is een warm en liefdevol afscheid 💛
Carol zet Boo en Harley in de bakfiets en samen rijden ze richting Monte Gordo. De wind door hun vacht, nieuwsgierig kijkend naar alles wat voorbij komt – wat een avontuur!
Eenmaal aangekomen wandelen ze over de lange loopbrug. Links en rechts het duinlandschap en voor hen… de zee 🌊
Ze blijven even staan, kijken naar de golven en genieten van het moment.

Na een heerlijke rit in de bakfiets en een rustige wandeling over de loopbrug, komen Boo en Harley aan in het gezellige centrum van Monte Gordo. De zon schijnt, de zee ruist op de achtergrond en langzaam begint hun buikje te knorren… tijd om te lunchen!
Ze lopen langs een druk terras. Het zit helemaal vol — mensen lachen, glazen klinken en overal hangt een ontspannen vakantiesfeer.
Maar dan…
Boo stopt ineens.
Harley kijkt omhoog.
Ze knipperen met hun ogen.
Daar, recht voor hen, hangt een bord:
“BOO & HARLEY Café & Restaurant”
Nee… dit kan toch niet waar zijn?! 😲🐶

Day 14 – Farewell and a big surprise The morning starts quietly and pleasantly. Boo and Harley wake up among their new friends at the doggy daycare. One last hug, a playful bark, and some cheerful waddling through the grass. But then the moment arrives… saying goodbye. All the doggy friends are standing by the gate, waving Boo and Harley off. It is a warm and loving farewell

💛 Carol puts Boo and Harley in the cargo bike, and together they ride towards Monte Gordo. The wind in their fur, looking curiously at everything passing by – what an adventure! Once arrived, they walk across the long footbridge. To the left and right, the dune landscape, and in front of them… the sea 🌊 They stop for a moment, look at the waves, and enjoy the moment. After a lovely ride in the cargo bike and a quiet walk across the footbridge, Boo and Harley arrive in the cozy center of Monte Gordo.

The sun is shining, the sea is rustling in the background, and their tummies are slowly starting to rumble… time for lunch! They walk past a busy terrace. It is completely full — people are laughing, glasses are clinking, and there is a relaxed holiday atmosphere everywhere. But then… Boo suddenly stops. Harley looks up. They blink their eyes. There, right in front of them, hangs a sign: “BOO & HARLEY Café & Restaurant” No… surely this can’t be true?! 😲🐶

🐾 Dag 13 – Avond bij Doggy Day Care Hortas
Na hun relaxte dag in Vila Real de Santo António besluiten Boo en Harley nog één bijzonder uitstapje te maken.
🚗🐶
Ze rijden naar Doggy Day Care Hortas, een fijne plek gerund door Rigardo Lima en Carol. Zodra ze aankomen, worden ze enthousiast begroet — staartjes kwispelen overal!
🐕💛
Binnen ontmoeten ze hun hondenvriendjes. Rennen, spelen, rollen in het gras… Harley vergeet haar zere pootje helemaal en Boo doet vrolijk mee met iedereen. Het is één groot hondenfeest!
🎾🌿
Er wordt gespeeld met ballen, gerend door de tuin en zelfs een beetje gestoeid. Boo laat zien hoe snel hij is en Harley charmeert iedereen met haar pluizige koppie.

Aan het einde van de dag komt Rigardo naar hen toe met een glimlach…
“Willen jullie blijven slapen?”
Boo kijkt naar Harley… en natuurlijk zeggen ze JA! 🐾
🛏️
Die avond kruipen ze samen met hun nieuwe vriendjes lekker in hun mandjes. Moe, voldaan en gelukkig vallen ze in slaap, omringd door gezelligheid.

🐾 Day 13 – Evening at Doggy Day Care Hortas

After their relaxed day in Vila Real de Santo António, Boo and Harley decide to take one more special outing. 🚗🐶 They drive to Doggy Day Care Hortas, a lovely place run by Rigardo Lima and Carol. As soon as they arrive, they are greeted enthusiastically — tails wagging everywhere!

🐕💛 Inside, they meet their doggy friends. Running, playing, rolling in the grass… Harley completely forgets about her sore paw and Boo happily joins in with everyone. It is one big doggy party! 🎾🌿 They play with balls, run through the garden, and even roughhouse a bit. Boo shows how fast he is and Harley charms everyone with her fluffy face. 🌙 At the end of the day, Rigardo comes up to them with a smile… “Do you want to stay the night?” Boo looks at Harley… and of course, they say YES!

🐾 🛏️ That evening, they snuggle up in their baskets together with their new little friends. Tired, satisfied, and happy, they fall asleep, surrounded by coziness.
