Just across the road from Caretaker’s House stands the Bethlen János House, built in the 1650s by Bethlen Jànos, chancellor of Transylvania. A place where centuries of history still live quietly within the walls, soon to begin a new chapter of its own.
Open the curtains and Transylvania slowly unfolds before you. Spend your summer in a restored historic home where every window opens onto the peaceful spirit of the village. Caretaker’s House was first imagined as a place for our own family to gather: lunches in the garden, children running barefoot through the grass, long evenings around the table. What began as a deeply personal restoration project has since become something we are proud to share. Today, it welcomes families and friends looking to experience the quiet beauty of Transylvania in a way that feels intimate and deeply comforting. A stay here feels less like visiting and more like returning home.
