Hostel La Conac Manau A 400 years old manor house which now is a 2 star Hostel with 31 sleeping places and a 100 sq event

Highly placed, on a plateau, close to the peak of a hill, in former times surrounded by a beautiful garden and more household extensions, whence the view goes as far as the former domain, this manor house, where the Wesselenyi family would entertain their guests with hunting, remaining in the memories of the locals up to this day, waited patiently, in the middle of a rich orchard, for the old rightful owners, the members of the Peterffy family, chased “out of the way of the socialist progress”, to return “home”. Time made “home” exist no more and the castle to become in the future, thanks to the kindness and the initiative of the new owner, the Benedek-Andir family, who bought the old Wesselenyi domain in 1995, “home” for all those who want to have fun here, in the intimate atmosphere of a welcoming home, where before, the tiredness built up by the horse galloping was left behind, during pleasant dinners and in the uproar of the fun in the salon. Amplasat la înălţime, pe un platou, aproape de culmea unui deal, altădată înconjurat de o frumoasă grădină şi de mai multe anexe gospodăreşti, de unde se observa până departe fostul domeniu, acest conac, unde familia Wesselényi îşi delecta oaspeţii la partide de vânătoare, rămase până astăzi în memoria localnicilor, a aşteptat răbdător, în mijlocul unor livezi bogate, ca vechii proprietari de drept, membrii familiei Péterffy, izgoniţi „din calea progresului socialist”, să se întoarcă „acasă”. Timpul a făcut ca „acasă” să nu mai existe, iar castelul să devină în viitor, prin bunăvoinţa şi iniţiativa noului proprietar, familia Benedek-Andir, care a achiziţionat în 1995 fostul domeniu Wesselényi, „casă” pentru toţi cei care vor dori să petreacă aici, în atmosfera intimă a unui cămin primitor, unde odinioară, oboseala acumulată de galopul cailor era lăsată deoparte, în timpul unor mese plăcute şi în rumoarea distracţiei de salon.
