The mountains are an incredible playground for trail runners - but they also come with risks that shouldn't be underestimated ⛰️

We spent a day at the Aiut Alpin helicopter base together with The Skyrunner World Series, a trail running athlete, mountain rescue professionals, and the RECCO team to discuss the risks of exercising in the mountains and why preparation matters 🚁🏃

Through this collaboration, RECCO and The Skyrunner World Series aim to raise awareness about mountain safety and the importance of being searchable.

Because being prepared isn't optional - it's essential.

Looking back at Helly Hansen’s press trip to Bergen, Norway and the spectacular Nærøyfjord 🇳🇴. Journalists from around the world came together for a closer look at mountain safety and what it takes to stay safe in remote terrain.
 
We conducted a live SAR demonstration and rescue scenario, showcasing how RECCO SAR Helicopter Detectors help rescuers search large areas quickly and efficiently in challenging mountain terrain 🚁⛰️. A special thanks to Norsk Folkehjelp for hosting an insightful workshop and sharing valuable perspectives from their search and rescue operations.

Looking back at the European Outdoor Week in Riva del Garda. RECCO was the official safety partner of the Activation Days, hosting workshops together with MagNet and professional instructor Paolo. Participants took part in activities througout the weekend such as: trail running, road running, via ferrata, yoga and trekking ⛰️
