A small clinic. A big problem. An urgent solution.
Yesterday, the air-conditioning at Dr. Ernie’s Clinic near Lakeside MRT went down.

For a clinic, this is more than just an inconvenience. With patients coming in, doctors attending to them and staff working throughout the day, being stuck in a hot, confined environment can make an already stressful situation even harder. 🥵

So today, Coolah! activated an emergency setup immediately. 🚨

Two portable air-conditioning units were deployed and installed to help cool the clinic and keep the day’s operations running as comfortably as possible. ❄️💨

Because at Coolah!, we believe that when our customers need help, we don’t simply say “we’ll see what we can do.”

Today, these two units helped bring some much-needed cool air back into the clinic — giving the patients, doctor and staff a more comfortable environment to get through the day.

Beyond Cold Air: Three Stories of Finding Relief When the Heat Is Unbearable

When people call Coolah for a portable air con rental, they are often asking for more than cold air. They are asking for relief when their homes no longer feel liveable.

This is why three recent calls have stayed with us.

One family was living through an aircon breakdown while roof works left their home exposed to the heat. Before we even entered, warm air was pouring out like an oven. Inside were five family members, around 20 birds, cats and other pets—everyone gathered in the living room, exhausted and waiting for help. We set up two portable air con units, and the change in the room and on their faces was immediate.

Another customer was working from home while managing severe eczema. With his aircon down, the warm nights made it very difficult to rest and the discomfort made work almost impossible. A temporary Coolah portable air con gave him a cooler space to focus during the day and a better chance to sleep at night while his main aircon issue was being handled.

The third call came from parents of two very young children. Their home aircon was being serviced for a week, and they had been given portable air coolers for their small bedroom. The added water made the room feel damp and sticky. Their two- and three-year-old children were crying and unable to settle. We removed the air coolers and installed a proper portable air conditioner with the exhaust hose routed outside. The room became cooler and drier—and the children could finally sleep.

A portable air con is not a replacement for aircon repair or medical care. But when an aircon breakdown cannot wait, the right temporary cooling can give families, pets and customers the breathing room to get through a difficult moment.

Over the past few months, we’ve been truly grateful and honoured to work alongside several Residents’ Networks (RN) across Singapore, supporting their spaces with temporary cooling solutions while their main air-conditioning systems undergo renovations, repairs, or upgrading works.

At Portable Aircon Rental Singapore - Coolah , we know that these community spaces are more than just rooms. They are places where children attend enrichment activities, seniors gather for programmes, families bond, and neighbours come together. To be able to play a small part in keeping these environments cool, comfortable, and conducive during such periods means a lot to us.

Many of these RNs run meaningful activities almost every day, and we are proud that our units could help enable these programmes to continue smoothly despite the heat and ongoing works.
