DoubleDragon’s Hotel101 Enters Africa 🌍🇪🇬

Today, October 20, 2026 (Egypt Time), Hotel101 Global signed definitive binding agreements for a country-wide development in Egypt, starting with Hotel101-Cairo West.

Hotel101-Cairo West at a glance:

🏨 Approx. 750 rooms
📍 15,984 sqm (1.59-hectare) site in Hay Al Ashgar, along Ahmed Zewail Road, about ten minutes from the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
💰 Projected project value of approx. EGP 5.465 billion (US$102.09 million / PHP 6.44 billion)
⭐ Expected to be one of the top three largest hotels by room count in Cairo, Egypt

Why Egypt?
Egypt, with a population of around 118 million, has welcomed over 19 million tourists in 2025.

With this milestone, Hotel101 becomes the first major homegrown Filipino brand and business model to be exported to Egypt, another first for Philippine hospitality on the world stage.

اليوم، 20 أكتوبر 2026: وقّعت شركة «Hotel101 Global» اتفاقيات نهائية مُلزمة لتطوير مشاريع على مستوى البلاد في مصر، تبدأ بمشروع «Hotel101-Cairo West».

يضم فندق «Hotel101-Cairo West» نحو 750 غرفة، ويقام على مساحة تبلغ 15,984 متراً مربعاً (1.59 هكتار) في منطقة «حي الأشجار» على طريق أحمد زويل، على بُعد حوالي عشر دقائق من أهرامات الجيزة والمتحف المصري الكبير.

من المتوقع أن يحقق المشروع قيمة إجمالية تبلغ حوالي 5.465 مليار جنيه مصري (ما يعادل حوالي 102.09 مليون دولار أمريكي، أو 6.44 مليار بيزو فلبيني).

ومن المتوقع أن يكون الفندق واحداً من أكبر ثلاثة فنادق في القاهرة من حيث عدد الغرف.

أفادت تقارير بأن مصر استقبلت أكثر من 19 مليون سائح في عام 2025، في ظل عدد سكان يُقدَّر بنحو 118 مليون نسمة.

حققت «Hotel101» التابعة لشركة «DoubleDragon» إنجازاً تاريخياً جديداً، كونها أول علامة تجارية فلبينية كبرى ونموذج أعمال فلبيني المنشأ يتم تصديره إلى مصر.

QUEZON CITY, Philippines — July 17, 2026 — DoubleDragon conducts Topping Off ceremony of the 702-room Hotel101-Libis at the Robinsons Bridgetowne Estate as the building structure and topmost floor of the hotel project has been completed

Hotel101-Libis, with 702 rooms, is set to be the largest hotel in the whole of Quezon City, Philippines.

Hotel101-Libis is located just a few steps to the Robinsons Opus Mall and is located inside the Bridgetowne development of Robinsons Land.

The 702-room Hotel101-Libis project will form part of the Hotel101 Global Vision of 50,000 uniform Hotel101 rooms in the Philippines and 1 million uniform Hotel101 rooms Worldwide.

This year 2026 will be the year with the highest number of room openings in one year. A total of additional 2,229 hotel rooms are slated to be operational this year 2026, 680 rooms in the recently opened Madrid, Spain, to be followed by the 519 rooms in Davao opening this month July 30, 2026, 548 rooms in Cebu and 482 rooms in Niseko Hokkaido, Japan.

Hotel101 Global Announces Definitive Binding Agreements Signed for the Development of Hotel101 in Bangkok, Thailand

SINGAPORE, July 01, 2026 — Hotel101 Global, a leading asset-light, prop-tech hospitality platform pioneering a global standardized “condotel” business model listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange and a subsidiary of Philippine-listed DoubleDragon Corporation, announces the signing of definitive binding agreements for the joint venture development of an approx. 770-room Hotel101 in Bangkok, Thailand. This expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s global growth strategy, bringing its novel, globally standardized condotel business model to one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic capital cities and major transportation hubs.

The hotel is expected to occupy a prime 8,336 sqm site along Phahon Yothin Road, near Don Mueang International Airport and beside the Yaek Kor Por Aor BTS Station. This strategic position is expected to offer connectivity and convenient access to Bangkok’s vibrant northern corridor. The area has emerged as one of Bangkok’s key growth districts, known for its modern infrastructure, excellent transport links, and strong mix of commercial, residential, and tourism developments.

• Prime Phahon Yothin Road Position: Located beside the Yaek Kor Por Aor BTS Station and near Don Mueang International Airport. Art Without Borders | Hotel101 Madrid — 24 June 2026

An extraordinary evening at Hotel101 Madrid, brought to life by our Madrid team in collaboration with Kate Contemporary Art Gallery.

Held in the hotel's multifunction room, the event welcomed approximately 60 guests for a night that celebrated the rich cultural connections between the Philippines, Spain, and Japan — through art, gastronomy, and hospitality.

Guests explored a curated exhibition of contemporary artworks inspired by Japan, alongside pieces by distinguished Filipino artists, including renowned contemporary painter Vincent de Pio. The atmosphere was set with Japanese-inspired canapés, an omakase experience, premium sake and wh**ky tastings, and live jazz music.

The evening was presented by Fernando Herrera-Lasso, Director of Global Sales & Distribution, Hotel101, and carried special significance with the endorsement and presence of Ambassador Philippe J. Lhuillier of the Philippine Embassy in Spain, who was accompanied by DHM and Consul General Mark Francis C. Hamoy, Consul Dyan Kristine Miranda-Pastrana, Commercial Counsellor Althea Karen P.
