Meet Coffee Room, a place where coffee refuses to behave like ordinary coffee. Think blueberry-scented, whisky-scented, wild concoctions. Beans are transformed through cold fermentation, then brewed your way — pour-over or espresso.

The creative duo behind Coffee Room are on a mission to rethink what coffee can be, pushing the boundaries of flavour while raising the bar for the humble daily brew.

And then there are the bakes. Shockingly good. The Korean-style baked cheesecake? Dangerous. The banana bread? Quite literally the kind of banana bread that makes us want to come to work early for.

Come curious. Leave caffeinated, slightly surprised, and probably packing something to-go.

SCENES FROM A GRAND OPENING

On 3rd August 2026, we officially opened our doors — and celebrated in style.

More than 100 guests joined us for an unforgettable evening, including friends, family, business partners, and our Guest of Honour, Mr Chee Hong Tat, Singapore’s Minister for National Development, as we marked the grand opening of Mber.

Alongside the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony and lion dance performance, Minister Chee also officiated the Mber Art & Heritage Corner — a space dedicated to preserving the stories of Teck Chye Terrace, the former Lim Tua Tow Market, and the heritage of Gor Kor Jiok. If you haven’t had the chance to visit yet, we’d love for you to stop by and explore this little piece of local history.

Every moment was narrated and hosted Guests also met some of the incredible collaborators who help shape the Mber experience, including Farreez Rosman and Syam from hustle.haus and Paul from PLASTIFY | Plastic Recycling and Education, each showcasing the creativity, craftsmanship and community that make Mber more than just a place to stay.

A special shout-out also goes to our emcee LumLum Lee ✨ Show Host · Performer · Creative Producer, whose infectious energy, humour and effortless charm kept the vibes high and the crowd engaged from start to finish.

This is only the beginning. More moments from our grand opening are on the way.
