Apparently when you run a campsite, youโ€™re supposed to use your free time to rest.

So we do.

Very professionally.

Two chairs.
Cold water.
Mountains.
And our favourite live stream. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

No buffering.
No subscription.
The quality is ridiculous.
And yes, sometimes your feet get wet. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Next minute youโ€™ve stopped for the 17th time becauseโ€ฆ

Forests, suspension bridges, ridiculously turquoise water, mountains showing off in every direction and enough little wow moments to seriously ruin normal walks for you forever.

Some people start their morning with coffee. โ˜•

Nadia started hers at 2-something in the morning... by climbing Mangart. ๐Ÿ˜โ›ฐ๏ธ

Meanwhile, the rest of us were bravely fighting for our lives... against the snooze button.

By 8 a.m. she had already watched the sunrise above the clouds, stood on one of Slovenia's most beautiful peaks, and collected enough mountain views for the entire office.

We honestly don't know how we're supposed to compete with that.

Tomorrow we're thinking of taking the recycling out before 9 a.m. Baby steps. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜‚

This is what happens when happy campers are given seven letters and absolutely no supervision. ๐Ÿ˜‚

One held the letter.
One brought wine.
One brought the whole family.
And one woman was apparently kidnapped for the letter E.

Perfect.

Because VODENCA was never just a name on a sign.

Itโ€™s morning coffee in camping chairs.
Wine in metal glasses.
New friendships made somewhere between the showers and the washing line.
Bare feet, messy tents, ridiculous poses and people who arrive as guestsโ€ฆ then somehow become part of our wonderfully weird little camp family. ๐Ÿฉต

This is VODENCA.

Spelled with seven letters.
Held together by happy campers.
And supervised by people who clearly take their jobs very seriously. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐ŸŽ‚ We told Alvaro there was a guest waiting at reception... there was. It was cake. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Today our amazing Alvaro celebrates his birthday! ๐Ÿฅณ

We hit pause on the daily camping chaos, grabbed a cake, sang Happy Birthday (our singing skills are still under review ๐Ÿคซ), and made sure he got the first slice before everyone else mysteriously appeared around the table. ๐Ÿฐ

Alvaro, thank you for all the hard work, the laughs, your positive energy, and for being such an important part of the Camp Vodenca family. ๐Ÿ’™ We honestly couldn't imagine this season without you.

We hope your year is full of adventures, happiness, and maybe... just maybe... one day without us finding you another job to do.

(No promises though. ๐Ÿ˜)
