The Soča River has shaped its stones over thousands of years. We took inspiration from each of them to create rooms with their own identity, where the character of the valley continues indoors.

CALMA [Limestone] ~ A soft, porous rock that is slowly reshaped by water. Its mineral structure and the play of light cocreate the Soča River’s recognizable emerald hues.

One of the walls showcases a depiction of the Boka Waterfall, all 144 meters of Slovenia’s most beautiful cascade. It’s portrayed in ink above the freestanding bathtub. The afternoon light that pours through the windows late in the day bathes the room in warm gold.

At Zen Emerald Resort, four-legged companions are more than welcome.

Room Vira was created especially for guests travelling with their furry friends. With its own private exit leading directly onto our spacious garden, it offers immediate access to cool shade, soft grass beneath their paws and endless space to explore.

Today we hosted a particularly special occasion. We celebrated an important birthday with our beloved Amelie, who spent her day exactly as it should be spent, enjoying the garden and a special birthday cake prepared just for her.
