🏔️ SOLZA REKE SOČE - KAPA TIHEGA PROTESTA
Naša kapa ni samo kos modne opreme iz naše kolekcije SOČA VALLEY IS MY HAPPY PLACE ali samo spomin na športne aktivnosti z agencijo Maya Team. Je kapa tihega protesta. Predstavlja zgodbo ljudi, ki vsak dan živimo z reko Sočo, na njej ustvarjamo doživetja in z gosti delimo lepote naše doline.
💙 V zgornjem in spodnjem delu doline, občini Bovec in Tolmin vlagata energijo v razvoj turizma, športnih aktivnosti in promocijo destinacije. Razumeta, da je Soča ena sama zgodba.
❌ Med njima pa leži Občina Kobarid, ki z enostranskimi odločitvami župana in brez širšega usklajevanja z drugimi občinami ruši koncept skupnega upravljanja reke Soče. Uničuje destinacijo, katero smo s skupnimi močmi gradili desetletja.
Tak pristop ubija dolgoletna prizadevanja za enotno turistično zgodbo doline in ustvarja občutek, da so skupni dogovori drugotnega pomena pred osebnimi interesi posameznika, ki ima v rokah škarje in platno. Nismo proti plačevanju pristojbine za uporabo reke Soče. Želimo si le razumne cene.
Zato je sestavni del naše kape nalepka ORIGINAL: Solza reke Soče, ki nazorno pokaže, da Občina Tolmin in Občina Bovec nista na istem bregu kot Občina Kobarid, hkrati pa sporoča:
Nihče nima pravice, da si lasti reko Sočo in deli dolino in ljudi na dva bregova.

🏔️ THE TEAR OF THE SOČA RIVER – A CAP OF SILENT PROTEST
Our cap is not just a fashion accessory from our collection SOČA VALLEY IS MY HAPPY PLACE or just a souvenir from outdoor adventures with Maya Team agency. It is a cap of silent protest. It represents the story of people who live with the Soča River every day, create experiences on its waters, and share the beauty of our valley with guests from around the world.
💙 In the upper and lower parts of the valley, the Municipalities of Bovec and Tolmin invest energy into tourism development, outdoor activities, and destination promotion. They understand that the Soča River is one story, one destination.
❌ Between them lies the Municipality of Kobarid, where onesided decisions by the mayor, made without broader coordination with neighboring municipalities, are undermining the concept of joint management of the Soča River. In doing so, they are damaging a destination that we have spent decades building together.
This approach destroys years of effort invested in creating a unified tourism story for the valley and sends a message that collective agreements are less important than the personal interests of an individual who holds all the power. We are not against paying a river usage fee. We simply believe that the price should be reasonable.
That is why our cap includes the ORIGINAL sticker: Tear of the Soča River, clearly illustrating that the Municipalities of Tolmin and Bovec are not standing on the same side as the Municipality of Kobarid. At the same time, it conveys a simple message:
No one has the right to claim ownership of the Soča River or divide the valley and its people into two opposing banks.
