ODIŠLA LEGENDA
Odišiel človek, ktorý vínu zasvätil viac než päť desaťročí. Bol ocenený titulom Legenda slovenského vinárstva. My sme ho poznali aj inak — ako človeka, ktorý veril, že najlepším vinárom je príroda a on jej môže len ticho slúžiť. V pivnici hľadal čistotu terroiru a pravdivú tvár každého ročníka. Bez zbytočných zásahov, bez kompromisov. Pre nás nebol len kolega, ale učiteľ a kamarát.
To, čo po sebe zanechal, ostáva v každej fľaši, ktorá nesie meno Château Belá. Ostáva v mužlianskych vinohradoch a v spomienke všetkých, ktorí s ním mohli stáť pri sude a počúvať, ako rozpráva o víne.

A LEGEND HAS LEFT US
A man who devoted more than five decades to w**e is gone. He was honoured with the title Legend of Slovak Winemaking — yet we knew him differently. As someone who believed that nature is the true w**emaker, and that his role was only to serve it quietly. In the cellar, he searched for the purity of the terroir and the honest character of every vintage. No needless intervention, no compromise. To us he was never merely a colleague, but a teacher and a friend.
What he leaves behind endures in every bottle that carries the name Château Belá. In the vineyards of Mužla. And in the memory of everyone who was fortunate enough to stand beside him at the barrel and listen to him speak of w**e.
