ARTIST IN RESIDENCE — AGEMO FRANCIS AGEMO

We are delighted to welcome Agemo Francis to Loman Art for an artist residency in Dakar, taking place in the lead-up to the Biennale/Parcours in November 2026.

Working across wood, metal and richly patterned surfaces, Agemo builds striking compositions in which fragmented faces, symbols and geometric forms come together. His practice transforms everyday materials through carving, layering and assemblage—creating works alive with texture, rhythm and human presence.

Over the coming months, we will share glimpses of his process, new work and preparations for November.
