แต่รางวัลไม่ใช่เรื่องที่เราอยากเล่าที่สุดหรอกค่ะ เราอยากเล่าสิ่งที่อยู่เบื้องหลังมันมากกว่า

ที่ Athita ทุกอย่างเริ่มจากคำถามเดียว — "ทำยังไงให้ที่นี่เป็นของเชียงแสนจริงๆ ไม่ใช่โรงแรมสวยที่เอาไปวางตรงไหนของโลกก็ได้"
เราเลยเลือกอิฐมอญทำมือ แบบเดียวกับที่ช่างเคยใช้ก่อเจดีย์เมื่อหลายร้อยปีก่อน เลือกไม้สักเก่าที่มีรอยเวลาอยู่บนเนื้อไม้ แสงทุกดวง มุมทุกมุม ถูกคิดมาเพื่อให้คุณรู้สึกสงบ ไม่ใช่แค่ "ถ่ายรูปสวย"
งานออกแบบที่ดีไม่ได้ตะโกนใส่คุณค่ะ แต่ค่อยๆ ทำให้คุณผ่อนลมหายใจช้าลงโดยไม่รู้ตัว

But the awards aren't what we most want to talk about. We'd rather tell you what's behind them

At Athita, everything began with a single question — "How do we make this place truly belong to Chiang Saen, not a pretty hotel you could drop anywhere in the world?"

So we chose handmade Mon brick, the same kind craftsmen once used to build the ancient pagodas. We chose aged teak that carries the marks of time in its grain. Every light, every angle, every wall was designed to make you feel calm — not just to "look good in photos."

Good design doesn't shout at you. It quietly slows your breathing without you noticing.

ทำงานหนักมาทั้งปี... ครั้งสุดท้ายที่ได้พักจริงๆ คือเมื่อไหร่คะ?

ไม่ใช่การ "ไปเที่ยว" ที่ต้องตื่นเช้าวิ่งตามตารางทัวร์ ต่อคิวร้านดัง แย่งกันถ่ายรูป แล้วกลับมาเหนื่อยกว่าเดิม แต่เป็นการพักที่ได้หยุดจริงๆ ตื่นมาไม่ต้องรีบ ไม่มีเสียงแจ้งเตือนงานเด้งใส่ ไม่มีล็อบบี้แน่นๆ

เราเข้าใจดีค่ะ ว่าคนทำงานหนักไม่ได้ต้องการที่ที่ "มีอะไรให้ทำเยอะๆ" แต่ต้องการที่ที่ทำให้ "ไม่ต้องทำอะไรเลย" ได้อย่างสบายใจ

ที่ Athita The Hidden Court เรามีแค่ 9 ห้องกับวิลล่า 3 หลังทั้งโรงแรม ทั้งวันคุณแทบจะไม่เจอใครเลย มีแค่เสียงลมผ่านกำแพงอิฐทำมือ แสงเช้าที่ลอดผ่านไม้สักเก่า และเวลาที่เป็นของคุณคนเดียวจริงๆ ที่เชียงแสน

จาก "ความลับ" หลังกำแพงอิฐ... สู่เรื่องเล่าระดับโลกบนเวทีนานาชาติ 🇹🇭ที่ อทิตา เดอะ ฮิดเด้น คอร์ท เชียงแสน (Athita The Hidden Court Chiang Saen) เราไม่ได้สร้างเพียงแค่ที่พัก แต่เราตั้งใจชุบชีวิต "มรดกทางกาลเวลา" ให้กลับมามีลมหายใจอีกครั้ง ทุกก้อน "อิฐมอญทำมือ" ทุกแผ่น"ไม้สักเก่า" และทุกความเงียบสงบริมแม่น้ำโขง ถูกร้อยเรียงขึ้นมาเพื่อมอบประสบการณ์ที่เหนือกว่าความหรูหราทางวัตถุ แต่คือความหรูหราทางจิตวิญญาณ (Spiritual Luxury) เพื่อให้ผู้มาเยือนได้ชะลอจังหวะชีวิต และสัมผัสจิตวิญญาณของอดีตราชธานีเชียงแสนอย่างแท้จริง

อิฐทำมือกว่า 900,000 ก้อน ไม่ได้ถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อความสวยงามเพียงอย่างเดียว แต่ทุกก้อนคือผลลัพธ์ของภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น ดินจากเชียงแสน เตาเผาฟืนแบบดั้งเดิมและฝีมือของช่างอิฐในชุมชนที่สืบทอดกันมาหลายรุ่น

สำหรับเราสถาปัตยกรรมที่ดีไม่ใช่แค่สิ่งที่ดูงดงามเมื่อสร้างเสร็จแต่คือสิ่งที่สามารถสร้างคุณค่าและเติบโตไปพร้อมกับผู้คนในชุมชนได้จริง

เพราะ Athita ไม่ได้สร้างขึ้นเพียงเพื่อ “การพักผ่อน”
แต่ถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อรักษาเรื่องราว วิถีชีวิตและลมหายใจของเชียงแสนเอาไว้

Over 900,000 handcrafted bricks were not created merely for beauty Each one carries the story of local craftsmanship made from Chiang Saen soil, fired using traditional wood-burning kilns,
and shaped by local artisans whose skills have been passed down through generations

For us, great architecture is not only about how it looks
It is about creating value, supporting local livelihoods, and growing together with the community

Because Athita was never built simply as a place to stay
It was built to preserve the stories, traditions, and living spirit of Chiang Saen

เมื่อสายฝนแรกเริ่มโปรยลงมา เชียงแสนก็กลับมามีชีวิตอีกครั้ง
สี
เขียวของต้นไม้ค่อย ๆ สดขึ้น อากาศเย็นสบายมากขึ้นในทุกเช้าและโบราณสถานเก่าแก่รอบเมือง ยิ่งดูสงบ งดงาม และเต็มไปด้วยเสน่ห์ในฤดูฝน นี่คือช่วงเวลาที่เชียงแสนไม่ได้สวยเพราะความคึกคักแต่สวยเพราะ “ความเงียบ” ที่ธรรมชาติกำลังเล่าเรื่องของตัวเอง

ที่ Athita คุณจะได้ใช้เวลาอย่างช้า ๆ ท่ามกลางกลิ่นฝน อิฐทำมือ และวิวเจดีย์เก่าแก่ที่อยู่คู่เมืองมานานนับร้อยปี
