A young guy from Texas move to California and goes to a big department store looking for a job. The manager says do you have any sales experience the Kid yeah I was a sales salesman back home in Texas. Well, the boss liked the kids so he gave him the job you start tomorrow tomorrow I’ll come down after we close and see how you did his first day on the job was rough but he got through it after the store was locked up. The boss came down. How many sales did you make today today? The kid says One the boss says just one our sales people average 20 or 30 sales a day. How much was the sale for $1237 under $1237 what did you sell Kid? I sold him a small fish fish then I sold him a medium fish then I sold him a larger fish then I sold him a new fishing rod then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down at the coast so I told him he was gonna need a boat so we went down to the boat department and I sold him that twin engine Chriscraft then he said he didn’t think his Honda Civic would so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4 x 4 blazer. The boss said a guy came in here to buy a fish hook, and you sold him a boat truck. He came in here to buy a box of tampons for his wife and I said well since your weekend shot, we might as well go fishing.

He wondered if he had anything to live for he couldn’t concentrate long enough to answer, but decided he had no choice but to go under the knife when he left the hospital, he was headache free for the first time in over 20 years, but he felt as if he was missing an important part of himself as he walked down the street he realized he felt like a different person he could make a new beginning and live a new life. He saw a men’s clothing store and thought that’s what I need a new suit the elderly salesman item him quickly and said let’s see your size 44 laughed and said that’s right how did you know been in the business 60 years? Joe tried on the suit it fit perfectly as Joe admired himself in the mirror. The Taylor asked how about a new shirt Joe thought for a moment and then said sure let’s see 16 1/2 neck 34 sleeve. Joe was surprised how did you know been in the business 60 years the shirt fit perfectly as Joe looked at himself in the mirror of the salesman said you could use new shoes since Joe was on a roll. He said sure the man I Joe’s feed and said 9 1/half feet Joe was astonished that’s right how did you know been in the business 60 years? Joe tried on the shoes and they also fit perfectly as Joe walked comfortably around the shop. The salesman asked how about new underwear Joe thought for a second and said why not the man stepped back by Joe’s waist and said let’s see size 36 Joe finally I’ve got you’ve worn size 32 since I was 18 years old but Taylor shook his head. You can’t wear a size 32 size 32 underwear would press your testicles against the base of your spine and give you one hell of a headache.

To our dearest Gary, who was part of Smith’s family for over a decade.
Today marks the anniversary of his passing, but his presence is still felt in every corner of the hotel. Thank you for wonderful years of friendship and memories. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
