สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสุทิดา พัชรสุธาพิมลลักษณ พระบรมราชินี ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษาครบ 4 รอบ 48 พรรษา วันที่ 3 มิถุนายน 2569 ซึ่งตลอด 7 ปีของการดำรงตำแหน่งคู่พระวชิรบารมีราชหฤทัย ทรงพิสูจน์พระองค์เองด้วยพระราชกรณียกิจและพระปรีชาสามารถหลายแขนง จนสามารถพิชิตใจและเป็นที่เคารพของเหล่าพสกนิกรได้มากขึ้น จนประชาชนมากมายได้เปิดใจยอมรับและถวายความเคารพสมเด็จพระบรมราชินีของปวงชนชาวไทยอย่างเต็มกำลัง
จากบทบาทของการเป็นแอร์โฮสเตสของสุทิดา ติดใจ เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างฉับพลันสู่เส้นทางของการเป็นทหารรักษาพระองค์ อาจเรียกได้ว่า เป็นการปูทางเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่การเส้นทางที่ยิ่งใหญ่ ที่ใจจดไว้นานเท่านาน ซึ่งหลังจากที่สมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราช เจ้าฟ้ามหาวชิราลงกรณฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมาร ทรงหย่ากับพระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าศรีรัศมิ์แล้วนั้น ก็ได้ปรากฏตัวในการโดยเสด็จในหลายพระราชกิจมากขึ้น
เมื่อวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2562 ได้มีการประกอบพิธีราชาภิเษกสมรสอย่างเป็นทางการ และได้รับการสถาปนาขึ้นเป็นสมเด็จพระบรมราชินี เพื่อให้สมพระเกียรติยศสมเด็จพระอัครมเหสี ในการพระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษก เมื่อวันที่ 4 พฤษภาคม อันเป็นไปตามโบราณราชประเพณี
เมื่อเข้าสู่บทบาทการเป็นสมเด็จพระอัครมเหสีแล้วนั้น แม้จะมีการเรียนรู้และเตรียมความพร้อมมาแล้ว หากแต่ยังต้องมีการปรับพระองค์อีกเยอะ โดยเฉพาะการเข้าถึงมุมมองของประชาชน ปฏิเสธไม่ได้ว่า แม้มีประชาชนมากมายพร้อมถวายความเคารพสมเด็จฯอย่างเต็มใจ ก็ยังมีบางส่วนที่อาจไม่รู้สึกรู้สาอันใดมากเป็นพิเศษ อาจเนื่องด้วยยังไม่เห็นการประกอบพระราชกิจอันใดมากนักเมื่อแรกเริ่ม
กระทั่งมีการชุมนุมประท้วงทางการเมืองที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์โดยตรง ซึ่งในฐานะสมเด็จพระบรมราชินี ก็ทรงโดนหางเลขไปด้วยอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ จึงต้องหันมาเปลี่ยนแปลงแนวทางการปฏิบัติพระราชกิจและเข้าถึงประชาชนได้มากขึ้น โดยใช้ทักษะและพระปรีชาสามารถที่สั่งสมมา ทั้งด้านการทหาร และโดยเฉพาะการกีฬา ทรงร่วมเล่นกีฬาฮอกกี้น้ำแข็ง และแข่งเรือร่วมกับนักกีฬาทีมชาติ อีกทั้งทรงร่วมงานวิ่งหลายโอกาสที่ประชาชนได้มีโอกาสใกล้ชิดมากขึ้น
นอกจากด้านกีฬาแล้ว ยังมีด้านการบินที่ทรงขับเครื่องบินด้วยพระองค์เอง ทำเอาต่างชาติตะลึงพร้อมอวยถวายด้วยความประทับใจโดยมิได้นัดหมาย ปฏิเสธไม่ได้ว่า สมเด็จฯทรงสร้างปรากฎการณ์ในฐานะอีกหนึ่งพระราชินียุคใหม่ ที่สามารถเป็นหน้าเป็นตาให้สังคมและประเทศชาติได้ สมคู่พระวชิรบารมี ทรงได้รับการยอมรับจากนานาชาติในพระปรีชาสามารถที่เป็นที่พูดถึงกันเสมอทั้งในและต่างประเทศ
ยิ่งนานวัน พระราชออร่ายิ่งเด่นชัดขึ้น ทรงเริ่มเป็นที่กล่าวถึงในหลากหลายมุมมองด้านบวกมากขึ้น ทั้งพระสไตล์ ฉลองพระองค์ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเมื่อได้มีโอกาสทรงเยือนต่างประเทศ สื่อและประชาชนพร้อมกันจับจ้องพระราชลุคที่จะทรงเฉิดฉายออกมาแบบไหน ด้วยทรงตระหนักดีว่าด้วยการธำรงไว้ซึ่งภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีของพระองค์เอง ตลอดจนของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และของประเทศชาติ จึงทำให้คนเริ่มสนใจในราชสำนักมากขึ้นไปด้วย
หลากหลายบทบาทของสมเด็จฯ ทั้งในฐานพระราชินี พระอัครมเหสี ในการสืบสาน รักษา และต่อยอดพระราชกิจและโครงการของสมเด็จพระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง สืบสานพระราชปณิธานเพื่อปวงชน และโดยเฉพาะการเป็น “แม่ใหญ่” ของบ้าน ที่ทรงปฏิบัติพระองค์เคียงคู่พระบรมราชสวามี ด้วยความสุขุม พระราชจริยาวัตรที่ดี และ “อยู่เป็น” จึงลอยองค์อยู่เหนือดราม่าเหล่าสนมเจ้าจอมทั้งหลายอันเป็นที่เซ็งแซ่ทั่วแผ่นดิน
แม้สมเด็จฯจะครองใจปวงชนได้มากขึ้นแล้ว แต่ในฐานะสมเด็จพระบรมราชินี สิ่งที่ทรงปฏิบัติตลอดมาตั้งแต่ได้ดำรงพระราชอิสริยยศนั้น จะเป็นดั่งบททดสอบสำหรับพระองค์ตราบใดที่ยังทรงสถิตในตำแหน่งนี้ตลอดพระชนม์ชีพ ที่จะได้ดำรงพระองค์อย่างสง่าผ่าเผย เข้าถึงประชาชนได้ดีขึ้น สมกับที่พสกนิกรพร้อมใจถวายพระพรและเคียงข้างเช่นนี้สืบไป...

Her Majesty Queen Suthida of Thailand celebrates her 4th cycle birthday, as she turns 48 on 3 June 2026. Throughout her 7 years as Queen Consort, Suthida proves herself with public duties as well as strong commitment and splendid abilities until she finally wins the people’s heart. She has now become another new royal icon, gaining praise and respect from the people.
As former flight attendant, Suthida Tidjai subsequently changed her role from aviation career to work as royal bodyguard. It would be her preparation for the most glorious pathway. After then-Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn and former Princess Srirasmi were divorced, Suthida made her more and more frequent appearances alongside Vajiralongkorn in many public engagements.
On 1 May 2019, Suthida is married to King Vajiralongkorn in a private ceremony. She was then officially made Queen Consort at the formal Coronation Ceremony on 4 May.
Despite having prepared and learnt about her new role as Queen, she still needed a lot of adjustments to fit in with her status and particularly the people’s view. Though a lot of people and royalists have given full respect from the beginning, many others were still doubtful to accept her as new mother of the nation until when she undertook her first public duties.
During the mass political protests in 2020, which strongly affected to the Monarchy, The Queen was also inevitably affected following the criticism towards The King’s personal life and his unfit for the role as Monarch. Suthida got a vital role to help adapt the ways to undertake royal duties for being easily touchable and approachable to the public.
The Queen chooses to show off the skills she has obtained, especially in sports. She joins ice hockey and sailing with both national teams and amateurs. She also participates in several running events to have people chances to approach the royal meetings.
As well as aviation, she is frequently seen piloting the plane. She receives several positive feedback both domestically and internationally. Suthida thus makes a new phenomenon as modern Queen, as no other Queens in modern times are seen acting as a royal bodyguard and pilot escorting the Monarch like her. She is praised to be another good representative of the nation.
Her Majesty also appears in discussions about her fashion styles and outfits, particularly when she makes royal visits overseas. Netizens and people always wait to see her look each day. She still receives good reviews on her style, of which each look represents well the country and national culture.
The Thai Monarchy seems to be more popular and one of the factors is Queen Suthida, who helps manage the royal adjustment to the people’s life. Apart from having projects succeeding the late Queen Mother and other aforementioned duties, she still does a good job being alongside her husband The King. She fades herself away to secure her right position from drama and scandals about The King’s concubines spread on social media.
Nevertheless, as Queen Consort, though having in this position for long, it is still a test for the rest of her life. Her Majesty could definitely fulfill more on her role as she is now becoming another popular member of the Royal Family.
