From 8 Sustainable Concepts to 8 Creative Expressions by 8 Designers and Architects
Follow a journey where reclaimed materials are given renewed meaning. Discover eight creative installations that thoughtfully transform salvaged elements from the traditional kitchen and pantry of the historic Ban Plai Nern into contemporary dining tables and cabinets. Each piece stands as a living testament to memory, craftsmanship, and the enduring Thai way of life—reimagined through a modern lens.
At our sister property Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok, this exhibition forms part of “Barricades,” a Design Experimental Workshop presented by INDA (International Program in Design and Architecture, Chulalongkorn University), with the valued support of the Embassy of Italy in Thailand, the Italian Cultural Institute, and Ban Plai Nern.
