The Royal Thai Navy Music Division will host a free public concert featuring the Regent Light Music band at the riverside courtyard in front of Golden Place, Tha Tien branch, on August 22, 2026.
The concert will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., offering attendees a scenic evening atmosphere along the Chao Phraya River.
***We are located near the event venue, just about an 5 minute walk away.***

The Royal Thai Navy Music Division will host a free public concert featuring the Regent Light Music band at the riverside courtyard in front of Golden Place, Tha Tien branch, on August 22, 2026.

The concert will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., offering attendees a scenic evening atmosphere along the Chao Phraya River.

​The performance will feature a diverse selection of classic international songs, such as Fascination, O Sole Mio, Scarborough Fair, Somewhere My Love, and Begin the Beguine.

​In addition to these global favorites, the band will also perform esteemed Royal Compositions, including Candlelight Blues, Near Dawn, H.M. Blues, Smiles, Magic Beams, Alexandra, Dream Island, Still on My Mind, and Oh I Say.

​All musical arrangements have been orchestrated by Rear Admiral Weeraphan Woklang, former commander of the Royal Thai Navy Music Division and National Artist in Performing Arts for Western Music.

​Admission to the concert is entirely free. While limited seating is provided at the venue, audiences are encouraged to bring their own chairs to comfortably enjoy the performance.

Under the theme “Ko Kerd Sin, The Land of Siam”, visitors are invited to discover Thailand’s rich artistic and cultural heritage through a unique cultural tourism journey connecting the Grand Palace in Bangkok to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

The journey showcases exquisite Thai craftsmanship, traditional Khon masked dance performances, and the inspiring story of Her Majesty’s royal initiative to preserve and promote Thailand’s traditional wisdom and cultural heritage at the Ko Kerd Arts and Crafts Centre in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

Our hotel is conveniently located near the Grand Palace, just an 8–10-minute walk away.

🚌 (TAT) Free Shuttle Bus Service

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is providing a free shuttle bus service between the Grand Palace and the Queen Sirikit Arts and Crafts Center at Ko Koet, from now until December 26, 2026. The service operates every Wednesday–Sunday.

👉 Outbound Trip
The bus departs from Na Phra Lan Road, opposite Wiman Thewet Gate, on the Silpakorn University side, Bangkok, at 11:00 AM.
Arrival at the Queen Sirikit Arts and Crafts Center at Ko Koet is approximately 12:30 PM.

👈 Return Trip
The bus departs from the Queen Sirikit Arts and Crafts Center at Ko Koet at 3:30 PM and arrives at the drop-off point at Bangkok Central Station (Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal), Building 4, at approximately 4:30–5:00 PM.

📌 Advance registration is required.
Seats are limited to 50 passengers per trip and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
