3 years ago we had a vision of building our own small backyard pond to both enhance nature and to house our ever growing fish collection.
After an extensive round of works carried out this time , we believe we have finally achieved that goal.
We have had many local hard working labourers , specialist tradesmen and materials here over the last 6 weeks ( we have kept everything as local as possible ensuring that all monies spent has been kept in our small community). Making the biggest changes since we 1st dug the hole
There are both enhancements for the fish/wildlife and also for anglers.
For the fish we now have ….
Fully stoned margins ,
planted with beneficial plants
3 deep water micro bubble aerators
2 top water forced induction fountain aerators
5 mid water forced induction aerators
2 paddle aerators
Fully 24hr monitoring of water ( ph , oxygen , temp etc)
A brand new fully automatic pond levelling system. Fed from its own independent deep well
Keeping our pond at an ideal level all year round.
A dedicated filtration system on the incoming supply of water.
A fully natural mechanical and biological filter system drawing water from the pond cleaning then returning

All this is of course expensive to the environment to run so we have installed 12kw of solar to help us maintain this system

For the angler ……
We have extended all 3 bungalow platforms and made stairs leading into the water for ease and safety of getting that perfect picture
All other fishing pegs have been updated to ensure a more comfortable session
A brand new “shop swim “ has been built so you are never far away from a cold b**r
All new weather proofed and air conditioned dining area
Brand new pond / Mountain View balcony
Updates to equipment: landing nets , rod pods , bite alarms ( we will know when get a fish )
Rods , reels and end tackle. Now with 6 different styles / setups to chose from.
We are so pleased what we have created. In our opinion a perfect natural tranquil back yard pond.

How blue can you get ?

Just carried out our annual water treatment deep clean , sanitising and filter replacement on all of our systems. Ensuring clean safe water for bathing and cleaning. Although we have the best systems set up here , we still recommend bottled water for consumption.

We welcomed Ben & Chris.
First time here with us at Whitehouse. They spent 2 nights with a days fishing in between.
After a few lessons on different styles of fishing , they quickly grasped the techniques and had an amazing session. Bagging 19 different species.
Well done
It was a pleasure having you here and we hope to see you again 🙏🏻

We welcomed Harrison with his mum and grandad for an overnight stay with us.
His 1st time in Thailand and meeting some different species
A very knowledgeable fisherman already he managed to bag some really nice fish. Although the weather was hard work ( heat was unbearable)
For a short fishing session , just a few hours he still caught himself 9 new species.
Well done Harrison , a pleasure to meet you and show you some different techniques
