Behind every wall at ANAIA, there’s a conversation.
Julien Smith and Franck Sicart of SSA didn’t arrive with a vision imposed on the land. They arrived with questions. They walked the site barefoot. They understood immediately that the boulders already here weren’t obstacles — they were the architecture.
What followed was one of those rare collaborations where trust deepens with every decision. Where “what if we...” becomes “yes, and...” every single time.
The result is a building that doesn’t feel built. It feels inevitable. Like the hillside always knew this is what it wanted to become.
And when the time came to dream up the next chapter of ANAIA, there was only one call to make.
Some partnerships are built for one project. This one, it turns out, was built for more.
