The first Fullmoon Party was improvised at Paradise Bungalows, Haad Rin Nok beach, Koh Phangan in 1983. Sutti - welcomed about 20 - 30 travelers and started a small party around a fire with Music, Laughter and lots of Dancing. It was on Full Moon so They named it the FULLMOON Party and as each Year passed it gained more and more popularity through word of mouth. The event now draws Crowds of 40 000 - 60 000 People each Month. The party carries on until mid Day the next Day from where it torrents out to all the after Parties. The original Fullmoon Logo is Carved into a big stone at Paradise Bungalows. The Modern Event has become the Itinerary of many Travelers to Asia. It is characterized by unruly Fire skipping ropes, Fire shows, wildly variable strength alcoholic 'buckets' that can sometimes kick like a Mule and much, MUCH more...

It is seen by many as the 'Ultimate Party Experience' ...
