Many people know Mariya Boutique Residence as a hotel near Suvarnabhumi Airport, a convenient place to stay before an early flight or to rest after a long journey. But in truth, Mariya was created with a purpose that goes far beyond simply providing accommodation.
The story of Mariya did not begin with the question, “How can we build a hotel for travelers?” Instead, it began with a deep appreciation for the art, culture, and way of life of Northern Thailand, particularly the Lanna heritage. The owner envisioned a place where guests could experience the charm of the North without having to travel all the way there, bringing a piece of its beauty and warmth closer to people from around the world.
Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully designed, from the architecture and materials to the woodwork, artwork, and countless small details that many guests may not notice at first glance. As you step inside, you are welcomed by gentle Lanna instrumental music softly playing in the background, the refreshing scent of lemongrass filling the air, and a spacious lobby adorned with distinctive traditional handicrafts. One of the most striking features is the gold lacquer artwork, a beautiful example of Thai craftsmanship that reflects the skill, dedication, and wisdom of local artisans.

หลายคนรู้จัก Mariya Boutique Residence ในฐานะโรงแรมใกล้สนามบินสุวรรณภูมิ เป็นที่พักสำหรับแวะพักก่อนขึ้นเครื่อง หรือพักหลังจากเดินทางมาอย่างเหน็ดเหนื่อย แต่จริง ๆ แล้ว Mariya ถูกสร้างขึ้นด้วยความตั้งใจที่มากกว่านั้นมาก จุดเริ่มต้นของโรงแรมแห่งนี้ไม่ได้มาจากคำถามว่าจะสร้างโรงแรมอย่างไรให้คนมาพัก แต่เริ่มจากความรักในศิลปะ วัฒนธรรม และวิถีชีวิตแบบล้านนาของภาคเหนือของไทย เจ้าของต้องการนำเสน่ห์ของภาคเหนือมาอยู่ใกล้ผู้คนมากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะผู้ที่อาจไม่มีเวลาเดินทางไปถึงภาคเหนือด้วยตนเอง

ตลอดหลายปีที่ผ่านมา Mariya ได้ต้อนรับผู้เดินทางจากทั่วทุกมุมโลก หลายคนเข้าพักเพียงคืนเดียวก่อนขึ้นเครื่องบิน แต่กลับบอกกับเราว่ารู้สึกเหมือนได้สัมผัสอีกด้านหนึ่งของประเทศไทยที่ไม่เคยคาดคิดมาก่อน บางท่านบอกว่าเหมือนได้เดินทางไปภาคเหนือโดยไม่ต้องขึ้นเครื่องอีกเที่ยว บางท่านตกหลุมรักรายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ ของงานฝีมือที่พบเห็นทั่วทั้งโรงแรม และหลายท่าน ก็กลับมาพักซ้ำเพราะความรู้สึกอบอุ่นที่หาไม่ได้จากโรงแรมสนามบินทั่วไป
