It's flea treatment and deworming time for our little gang! 🐱💊🐾

Today, all our indoor and outdoor kitties are due for their flea treatment (the spot-on drops on the back of their necks) and deworming medicine. And guess what? Everything is ready! 😆💛

Since I took Pango to the vet for her vaccination, the vet kindly took care of her flea treatment and deworming while we were there. One kitty down, six more to go! 😂🐱

Now it's time to round up the remaining six little troublemakers! Wish me luck, everyone! Hopefully they'll all cooperate… but knowing this gang, I wouldn't count on it! 🤣💛🐾

A little mystery at the guesthouse today! 🐱🔍💩

Today, I found some runny p**p scattered on the floor. I'm not sure whether it came from a bird or a cat, but honestly, it looked more like cat p**p to me. 😅

Of course, I immediately started worrying about MoMo and Tama. Could one of them be feeling unwell? 🥺

But so far, both of them seem perfectly fine! They're eating their dry and wet food as usual, still playful, still cuddly, and full of energy. Nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Now here's another little mystery… 👀

Last Saturday, I briefly saw MoMo chasing a kitten! I quickly ran over to check, but the little one had already disappeared. So now I'm wondering if we might have a secret little visitor hanging around. 🐱

Especially since all the cat food has been disappearing every single morning lately! Maybe someone else has been sneaking in for a free buffet? 😂🍽️

For now, there's not much I can do since I have no idea whose p**p it was. I'll just keep an eye on everyone and watch for any signs of illness.

But judging by these photos and videos, don't MoMo and Tama look perfectly fine to you? Still as naughty and playful as ever! 🤣💛🐾

Another Katsu update after yesterday’s vaccination post 🐱💛

At around 2 PM yesterday, I started noticing that something wasn’t quite right with Katsu. He was meowing A LOT, running back and forth like he couldn’t settle down, and constantly licking himself and his paws. His breathing also became quite fast, and occasionally he would open his mouth and pant.

At first, I wondered if he was having a reaction to the vaccines. I tried turning on a fan in case he was simply too warm, but nothing really changed. I contacted the vet, and initially we discussed giving him medicine for his fever and possible allergic reaction. But after thinking about it, I decided it would be safer to let him stay at the clinic overnight, just in case his condition got worse.

When I finished work and took him to the clinic, the vet found that Katsu had developed a fever, a rash on his body, and redness around his eyes. It turned out that he was indeed having an allergic reaction to the vaccines, although thankfully it wasn’t severe. The rash was probably making him very itchy, and together with the fever, it explained why he was so restless and breathing so quickly. 🥺

The vet gave him an injection and medication, and by that evening we received good news — his breathing had returned to normal! ❤️

I just picked him up from the clinic today. His fever has gone down, and although there’s still a little bit of the rash left, the vet said it’s okay. Most importantly, Katsu is no longer itchy, restless, or uncomfortable. 🥹💛

He really scared me yesterday! I’m so glad I happened to still be at work and decided to stand there and watch him for a while because his constant meowing seemed unusual. Otherwise, poor Katsu might have had to stay uncomfortable for much longer.

Welcome back, little Katsu. Please don’t scare us like that again! 😭😂💛🐾

Katsu update! 🐱💛

Today was Katsu’s vet appointment for his annual vaccine boosters and rabies vaccination. The vet gave him a check-up and said our boy is looking healthy! 🥰

He got two vaccine shots today 💉💉 and was also dewormed.

Everything went well, and Katsu is officially all done with his little health check for today! Good job, Katsu! 🐾💛

He might deserve some extra treats after being such a brave boy today… don’t you think? 😂

There’s sooo much space everywhere, but somehow they decided that squeezing together into one tiny box was the best option. 🤣📦

And judging by the situation… I have a feeling Pango was the one who came and squeezed herself in AFTER Soba was already comfortable. 😂

Just look at Soba’s face! 😭🤣 She looks like, “Seriously, Pango? Out of ALL the places you could sleep… you chose RIGHT HERE?!”

Meanwhile, Pango looks perfectly happy with her decision. 😂💛

A little update on our warrior Tama! 🐱⚔️💛

We shaved a small area around the wound on his front leg so it would be easier to clean and so we could get a better look at it. Yesterday, even after cleaning it with saline three times, there was still some fresh blood coming out, so we wanted to make sure the wound wasn’t too deep.

It does seem to be a small but fairly deep puncture wound. Thankfully, the bleeding has stopped today! 🙏 The other little wounds on his body are also looking okay and don’t seem to be causing any problems.

There’s also a small scratch near his eye. Tama isn’t squinting at all, so hopefully his eye itself wasn’t scratched and it was just around the eyelid area. That would explain why the edge of his eye looked a little red yesterday. 👀

So far, our little warrior is doing okay! 💛 But seriously, Tama… can you please stop coming home with new battle wounds?! 😭😂

Hellooo! Warrior Tama is back again! 😂⚔️🐱

I saw Tama sitting unusually still today, so I went over to check on him and… yep. This little warrior came back covered in battle wounds AGAIN. 😭😂

He has several little wounds on his body, wounds on both ears, and the edge of one eye looks a bit red, although thankfully he isn’t squinting. I also noticed some dried blood on his front leg. After cleaning it off, I found a small puncture wound underneath, and it was still bleeding a tiny bit. 🥺

For now, I’ve cleaned his wounds with saline and applied his wound spray. I’ll also check with the vet about his eye to see whether he needs eye drops or if we should just keep an eye on it for now.

Seriously, Tama… WHAT have you been doing out there?! 😭😂 You disappear on your little adventures and come back looking like you’ve just returned from war. Please give your human a break, Mr. Warrior! 🐱⚔️💛
