[Official Announcement]

September 24, 2026
Subject: Notice Regarding Continuous Rainfall Over the Weekend
----------------------------------
Pattaya City has received a weather warning from the Meteorological Department concerning unstable conditions caused by a strong low-pressure system moving through the eastern region from September 24 to 27, 2026. This is expected to result in continuous rainfall across Pattaya City and Chonburi Province, potentially leading to flash flooding. Relevant agencies are kindly requested to notify the public and advise residents and visitors to exercise caution when planning their travel during this period.
----------------------------------
Pattaya City is scheduled to host the “Amazing Thailand Pattaya Marathon 2026 presented by Mama” from September 24 to 27, 2026, with the start and finish lines located at Dolphin Circle on Pattaya North Road, Chonburi Province. The event is at full capacity with 21,727 participants, and we anticipate that over 50,000 runners and their families will arrive between today, September 24, and Sunday, September 27, 2026, which coincides with the predicted inclement weather.
----------------------------------
The organizing committee has reviewed the potential impact of these conditions and has determined that the event will proceed as scheduled. We remain committed to monitoring the situation closely and kindly request that all participants stay updated through the Pattaya Marathon page throughout the duration of the event.
