SAii I Do
What was once discarded has found a new purpose — woven into a celebration of love, the ocean and a more mindful future.
SAii Laguna Phuket presents SAii I Do — a sustainable wedding-inspired creation that celebrates the sacred promise between a bride and the sea. Inspired by the beauty of the ocean and the timeless symbolism of love, the design transforms everyday materials from across our resort into something meaningful, beautiful and entirely new.
Created with materials collected from different departments, the outfit brings together creativity, craftsmanship and the spirit of circularity. Retired bed sheets and spoiled pillowcases from Housekeeping and F&B outlets are given a second life as part of the gown, while toilet paper tubes, plastic bags and used room amenities such as toothpaste and tea bags are transformed into unique decorative elements.
A swimming ring from Recreation is reimagined into the details of the design, while bottle caps from the Centre Donation Area, plastic water bottles from Housekeeping and cardboard from Accounting become unexpected materials within this sustainable creation.
Each element tells a story of what already exists within our resort — materials that might once have been overlooked, now carefully reimagined through creativity and craftsmanship.
At the heart of SAii I Do is a promise — a bride marrying the ocean, and a commitment to protect what makes our coastlines and seas so precious.
Because love is not only about what we create together, but also what we choose to protect.
Waste becomes possibility.
Possibility becomes craft.
And craft becomes a reminder that every small choice can make a difference.
Through SAii I Do, we celebrate love, mindfulness and responsibility towards our oceans, while inspiring us all to reduce waste, rethink what we use and give materials a second life.
