A Turkish breakfast is laid out, the first tea is poured, and beyond the window the Bosphorus has already begun its day. Ferries pass, the city slowly wakes, and for a little while, there is nowhere you need to be but here.

Around The Corner, Istanbul Modern celebrates the extraordinary world of Semiha Berksoy with Aria of All Colors.

Bringing together more than 200 works, the exhibition traces Berksoy’s singular universe across painting, opera, theatre, cinema and literature, revealing an artist for whom life and art were never entirely separate.
Just a five-minute walk from Hovagimyan, a vivid encounter with one of the most distinctive voices in Türkiye’s cultural history.
