Mushroom season is officially underway.

After our first walk of the season, we’re heading back into the forests of Şile on October 11 & 18 & 25 baskets in hand, to see what autumn has brought to the surface.

And if the weather and forest allow, there will be more walks to come. After all, mushroom season follows nature’s calendar, not ours.

İlk sofranın tadı damağımızda, sohbeti aklımızda kaldı.
Geçtiğimiz hafta ilk kez kurduğumuz Günübirlik Meyhane sofrasında, sonbahar bahçesinde uzun bir öğleden sonrayı; Şef Emre Şen’in hazırladığı tabaklar, kadehler ve uzayan sohbetler eşliğinde paylaştık.

Çok keyif aldık, yeniden buluşmak için de fazla beklemek istemedik. 11 Ekim’de yeniden buluşuyoruz. Biyodinamik bahçemizden ve yerel üreticilerden gelen mevsim ürünleriyle şekillenen soframızda, sonbaharın tadını bir kez daha birlikte çıkarmaya davetlisiniz.

Slow Beauty Brunch sofralarında iyi yaş almayı konuşuyor; bilgiyi hayatımıza taşıyabileceğimiz küçük adımlara dönüştürüyoruz. Bizim Masa’nın sohbet kartları ve uzmanlarla gerçekleşecek Longevity Talk ile birbirimizden öğrenmeye, paylaşmaya ve bağ kurmaya alan açıyoruz. Marga Longevity’nin kişiye özel ölçüm ve bakım deneyimleriyle bedenimizin ihtiyaçlarını daha yakından tanıyoruz.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Chef Álvaro Clavijo of El Chato to Casa Lavanda for a four-hands dinner with Chef Emre Şen.
Two kitchens shaped by very different landscapes came together through a shared respect for biodiversity, local producers and the ingredients that define where they come from. The result was a menu created for one night only, carrying traces of El Chato’s Colombian roots and Casa Lavanda’s home in Şile in every course.
Our heartfelt thanks to Álvaro Clavijo and the El Chato team, and to everyone who joined us around the table for this very special evening.
