🦍🌊 FROM THE MISTY FORESTS OF BWINDI TO THE BEAUTIFUL WATERS OF BUNYONYI

Today’s adventure gave us a perfect combination of wildlife, culture, scenery and relaxation.

Our day followed the unforgettable experience of gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where we ventured into the forest in search of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

From Bwindi, we continued to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s spectacular highland lake, surrounded by rolling hills and numerous islands.

One of our stops was the island famously known as Punishment Island, which carries fascinating stories from the history and traditions of the local communities around Bunyonyi.

As evening approached, we returned to Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort and watched the sun slowly disappear over the hills, bringing our adventure-filled day to a peaceful close.
