Whistle Stop RV Resort We are a 8 year old resort that still has that new feeling. We love our guests! We are a perfectly rated 10/10*/10 Good Sam park for 4 years and counting.

Whistle Stop RV Resort is Abilene's 2nd newest RV Resort, but we are still the BEST. We offer large pull-thru (big enough for large diesel pushers with tow behind vehicles/trailers), pull-in, and back-in sites. We also have a small convenience store located in our office, large clubhouse for meetings and groups, swimming pool, lighted pickleball court, regulation sand volley ball pit, private bath

, and laundry facilities. we have 12'x12' horse stalls available for rent for guests traveling with horses. All sites have 20/30/50 electric service, city water and sewer, a good selection of cable channels, and park wide complimentary streamable WiFi. For those using jet packs and hot spots, the park does have a 5G tower on site. Verizon and AT&T are VERY strong. T-Mobile is fair.

We have some rain heading our way, and we are so incredibly thankful! At this time nothing is looking severe, however that could change at any time. Our pool closed earlier this evening as lightning strikes became a risk to swimmers. We care about the safety of our guests FIRST, and always FIRST.

We are currently full on long-term/monthly sites with an extensive wait list of over 80 people. We are typically no vacancy most days of the week for short-term guests, so if you want to make a reservation, do so as quickly as possible to make sure that we have availability for you.

Our pool is beautiful and the guests are enjoying it! Just to answer a couple commonly asked questions, we do not rent our pool out, nor do we allow non-guests to use it. If renting the clubhouse, renters and guests of renters can use the pool, however our daily/weekly/monthly guests can use it as well.

There is a high probability that we will see rainfall with the potential of severe thunderstorms this afternoon/evening. Biggest threats are large hail, gusty winds up to/over 50mph, and heavy rainfall.
