IT'S OFFICIALLY THAT TIME OF YEAR!!! We welcome PCT hikers to our campground for a break from the trail for resting and re-fueling before heading back out to hike another 20+ miles! We had the pleasure of meeting the infamous 'Log Man' so we had to take a pic to share :)
His journey is a commendable one in which he is currently raising money for a childrens charity by hiking the Pacific Crest Trail carrying the log seen here in this picture. Let me tell you that it is heavy, (I lifted it myself lol), and he uses nothing to strap it to him in anyway. It was real treat getting to learn about his mission!

Well, the Santa Ana winds are so strong that Edison shut off the power to avoid wildfires. The conditions are expected to be bad until Friday morning. :( Here's what Edison says:

Power has been shut off in this area due to increased fire risk conditions, which are expected from 11/24/2021 1:51 PM to 11/26/2021 9:00 AM. Power restoration typically takes 3-8 hours after conditions improve.*
County: Los Angeles

Power may be temporarily restored as weather permits.
