Sara's husband is a lineman and remained in Savannah during hurricane Irma. She headed north with twin girls under one year old, two other daughters and two schnauzers. Grandma and Granddad were in route from Montana and arranged for them to stay at Adair Manor. They joined them a day later and all left yesterday to return to Savannah.
We all gathered in prayer before they left and we hope you will pray for and with them for all those who are returning to these hurricane ravaged areas.
What a blessing is was to have this family with us.

Ran across this article written on my 4'11" devout grandmother written 41 years ago today. While living in Dallas, Doris & I went to visit her after she lost her leg. Doris ask her how she was and she responded "I'm just a flitien' and a scooting up & down these isles. There are so many of these poor folks that are depressed and need my prayers. I'm doin' just fine.".....and she was at 92 and one good leg.

His third bout with cancer took Seth to be with our Lord this week. In our youth he was my big brother and best friends. As adults we lived in opposite sides of the U.S., he in Seattle and I in Texas and Georgia and saw each other only on occasions. My favorite memories are of our youth.. I will miss you Seth.
