Camp Sequoia Seasonal Campers:
You can start coming out and checking on your campers, spring cleaning your sites and that. We still don’t have the water on yet. Use the back drive for a while longer but come on out if you want. 😁😁

Nothing like waiting until way last minute but... I need help and input from all of you. We are working on the logo for Praisefest 26' to go on advertising, flyers, post cards, banners, t-shirts and more. For those of you who don't know about Praisefest, it is an annual all day, Christian praise and music revival which we have held at Camp Sequoia since 2010 (with the exception of a couple of years when my Dad was struggling so much.) This event is open to all local church worship bands and is open to the public. We typically hold it the 3rd weekend in September each year.

I have attached a few samples (click on the link below) but honestly, if you have a different idea I want your suggestions on this. Now here comes the big favor... can you look at this, think about it and email or text me your ideas for what you see Praisefest '26 logo to look like by Tuesday, November 28? We will be making a decision by next weekend so we can get rolling on this the week after. For the person who's design we pick will receive a special gift! (Hint: Have you seen the wall mounted guitar from 2022 Praisefest?). If you think of something after the 28th, please send an email to the camp email address with your ideas.

Praisefest 2026 will be back this next year on September 19, 2026. Let's lift up our Lord Jesus in love, prayer, song, dance. Let's come together with this worship and praise revival on this special day. A baptism tank will be set up this year and we will take communion together too. Christian venders for crafts, prayer blankets, candles and so much more. Food and beverage will be available that day and will be served at the pavilion. See Henry if you are interested in helping in that area. Volunteers for everything from parking, driving people fin golf carts rom their cars to the stage area, kitchen, clean-up crews, and more will be needed. Please tell your home church as sign up is going on now! Tell your friends and everyone you meet.

Ok.. you are busy with cooking, cleaning and preparing for Thanksgiving day but we really need your input so give this some thought. Write yourself stickies and place them around the house reminding you to think about it. draw up your ideas and send them to the camp email. [email protected]. Thanks! Love you all! Happy Thanksgiving!! Oh and just so you know (if you don't already) I am, we are so very Thankful for the friendships and family we have in each of you!

Praisefest 2026 at Camp Sequoia .
September 19, 2026 - 9:45am to 10:00pm

Praisefest is back and we are inviting your church to participate in this day filled with praise & worship music and revival!! This event is open to all local church praise & worship bands. Come and let’s sing, dance and worship together! Keep Praisefest 2026 date posted in your church bulletins and on your “happenings” page of your web site.
The event runs from 9:45 am to 9:00pm. Opening prayer and announcements begin at 9:45 that morning with the first band beginning at 10:00am. Band time slots are 45 minutes of play time each.
We will be open to vendors and there will be food and beverages for sale on grounds. A bounce house will be up and running for the young kids. We also hope that each church would have a couple of high schoolers to run some organized games or crafts for the children who’s family’s are attending this event. This is open to the public with a goodwill offering being collected at the door of $15.00 per person ~ children under 5 are free and seniors over 80 are free. All funds raised go towards putting the event on. Plenty of parking and lawn seating available so bring your own chairs or blankets.
We are seeking sponsors who’s names will be announced throughout the event, advertised on Praisefest t-shirts, radio ads and local newspaper ads. Skirting on the stages will be lined with banners for sponsors. Praisefest t-shirts (like the old concert t-shirts) will be available for purchase at the event.
Please reach out to me if your church’s praise band is interested in performing or you would like to help in any other aspect of the day. Praisefest has always been such an awesome day of prayer, music, dance and just coming together all people, all churches and giving glory to our Father in Heaven. Won’t you share this with your church elders and worship pastors.

We are limited to only 12 band spots available so reach out to me to get your church band time slot reserved. Now you have a year to come up with your ‘play list’ which I will want by next spring. We do try to coordinate each set’s song list so that each band isn’t playing the same songs. As with the time slots, it is first come, first serve with the playlist song choices so get your list to us sooner rather than later.
