In the midst of floods, fires and devastating news, we relish the opportunity to witness God’s creations around Ruidoso. In just a few days, we have enjoyed watching wild horses, deer, elk, turkeys, hummingbirds and a cute fox who was much too quick for our camera!

Merry Christmas fun!

The Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual Festival of Lights Parade is this weekend, Saturday, December 7th at 5:30 PM!

The parade route runs east along Sudderth Drive from the Mechem Drive/Sudderth Drive intersection ending at the Chamber of Commerce at 720 Sudderth Drive. (Lineup is located at the traffic circle at Sudderth Dr & Main Rd.)

Road closures: 4:45 PM through the parade's conclusion
- Roads that access Sudderth Drive North from Paradise Canyon Drive to the Traffic Circle on Main Road
- Roads that access Sudderth Drive South from 1st Street to Carrizo Canyon Road

Traffic will not be permitted past 4:45 PM along the parade route. Roads will reopen when the parade concludes.

We ask residents and visitors to plan accordingly by taking alternate routes and expect delays due to traffic congestion and road closures.
