Camp Edge Summer camps for kids, High & Low Ropes and Outdoor Ed for groups, and fun activities in between. Come check us out!!

The Camp Edge property had originally been used as a mill. The lake came about as the result of digging out around Alloway Creek and the water was used to generate power for the mill. The lake was created in 1850 and was first called Sycamore Lake and then later, Feyl Lake, which is its name today. In 1998, Ranch Hope, Inc., was approached by Green Acres regarding the management of the newly purchased Camp Edge property in Alloway Township. Ranch Hope was given the opportunity to lease 77 acres of the land for a period of fifteen consecutive years. This agreement allowed Ranch Hope to leave the camp as it was, or to provide programming which will once again benefit the community and region, while following Ranch Hope’s proud tradition of honoring Christ in all that they do.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day 🎉

Today, we pause to honor the rich heritage, strength, and enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples across our nation. As we reflect on their stories and the history of this land, we are reminded of God’s call to walk in humility, justice, and compassion (Micah 6:8) .🧡

At Ranch Hope, we strive to encourage hope and healing for all God’s children. Today, we celebrate the resilience of Indigenous communities and commit to listening, learning, and showing Christ-like respect for every culture and every voice.

Ranch Hope is deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend, Paul Stankard.

Paul was a world-renowned glass artist, but to the Ranch Hope community, he was so much more. For many years, Paul generously shared his extraordinary talent, his time, and his heart with our youth during our annual Glass Week. His patience, kindness, and genuine interest in each young person made an impact that extended far beyond the art they created together.

Ranch Hope CEO Dave Bailey shared, “I was honored to have known Paul and to have him as a friend. He was always gracious in sharing his talent and incredibly patient and present with our youth during our Glass Week each year. His life story is one that everyone can learn from and be inspired by in our own paths. I was also honored to have known and spent time with Paul personally, sharing our faith journeys, and always walking away renewed with a smile on my face for having been in Paul’s presence.”

We are incredibly grateful for the years Paul spent sharing his gifts with Ranch Hope and for the lasting impression he made on our youth, staff, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Our prayers are with Paul’s family, friends, and the countless people whose lives he touched.

Paul’s artistry will live on through his remarkable work, and his kindness, faith, and generosity will remain a lasting part of his legacy at Ranch Hope. ❤️
