Almo Inn & Outpost Steakhouse Get away from life's stress while still feeling at home with quality steak, food, & western lodging. Recreation and relaxation is what this area is all about.

Almo is a small ranching community with many historical sites. Home of the City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rock State Park. Almo Inn is open 365 days a year. The Outpost Steakhouse is open 6 days a week April - October but please check our website or our Google for the exact hours. (Closed every Tuesday)

We hope you will find our place enchanting and relaxing. We are growing every year.

Longer days, mountain sunsets, wildflowers, campfires, and weekends in Almo. Summer is officially starting to settle into the valley, and there’s no better place to slow down and enjoy it than here at the Almo Inn and Outpost Steakhouse.

Whether you’re planning a getaway to the City of Rocks, stopping through for a steak dinner, or simply looking for some peace and quiet, we’re ready for another beautiful season in Almo.

May and June are some of the best times to experience Southern Idaho’s incredible high desert landscapes at City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park - just under an hour drive from Burley.

Cool mornings, green valleys, wildflowers, and comfortable temperatures make this the perfect season for hiking, climbing, sightseeing, photography, camping, or simply slowing down and enjoying the scenery.

Make a weekend out of it by staying in one of the area’s unique yurts or booking a stay at the Almo Inn or City of Rocks RV. Whether you’re an experienced climber, an adventurous family, or someone just looking for a peaceful getaway, there’s something special waiting in the shadows of these iconic rock formations.
