We finally finished the second cabin! And we have availability for September and October. Our rate during season is $120/night for 2 people. Cabins have full private baths, refrigerators, TV/internet, microwaves, front porches, screened tent and grills. We're a mile from the Upper Fly Zone, 2 miles from the Hatchery outside Altmar.

Fishing has certainly made our sheltering at home more tolerable these past couple of months. And we discovered that saltwater catfish are pretty tasty! The only catches that we keep.

Just a note to let everyone know that we will be sending out invoices and reservation reminders soon to everyone who has asked for reserved cabins for the Fall fishing season. Reminds me of the time I fell in the Salmon River and Chuck had a fish on - he wasn't worried about me since there were several guys downstream that he knew would help me out. 😅

Best day we've had so far on the river. Had quite a few hook ups and a couple landed in the Paradise Pool. It was a beautiful afternoon even without the usual amount of activity.

Took a day off from fishing last weekend to attend the Fall wine tasting party at Boundary Breaks Winery on Cayuga Lake.

Needed to bring some of their award winning dry Rieslings home to Florida with us! Very nice afternoon and dog friendly, so Barclay & Murdoch enjoyed the day too...and no...they are too young to drink the wine. 😂

Columbus Day Weekend Availability!! Dancing Bears Cabins just had a cancellation for our 3 Bedroom Rental House. The house is located on Sunset Circle 10 minutes from Douglaston Salmon Run and the Estuary. The house sleeps 5 people comfortably.
