We received a wonderful gift from Keith Myrmel today at Bin-Walkin.
His maps are beautiful and if you are looking for a wall map of the north country trail his are tops. Once I get a frame made up I will post where I decided to hang it .

We had our chapter hike this morning with chili at Bin-Walkin afterwards.
It was nice meeting everyone.

If you have ever wanted to visit Bin-Walkin and check it out this is your chance.
Saturday's WMChapter hike is being held just down the road from us . After the hike all are welcome to stop by and have some chili and or cookies. We'll even be getting pictures in front of the historic map.

We had our youngest hiker yet stay at Bin-Walkin.
Rebecca hiked our section with her 11 year old daughter.

5 years ago we moved an old grain bin down the road with the intent of supporting hikers on the trail and the NCT itself. Since, we have been able to help 72 hikers using the trail.

So excited the trail south of lowell Michigan is moving along in the right direction.that will take 5.5 miles of roadwalk and turn it into safe trail plus it will add a tunnel under I 96

Machine is the 8th through hiker for 2026 to stay at Bin-Walkin.
In 10 days he will complete his hike on the NCT and become the 13th or 14th hiker to complete all national senic trails.
