Lincoln County has issued a Fire Danger Emergency (Resolution 2026-55) effective April 22, 2026. Fire danger is currently extremely high across the county.

No open burning is allowed, including campfires and debris burning. Fireworks of any kind are prohibited.

Smoking is restricted to enclosed vehicles, buildings, or cleared areas. All equipment must have spark arrestors, and chainsaw use requires a 30-minute fire watch after operation.

Dumping ash or burning materials on roadways is prohibited.
These restrictions apply to all unincorporated areas of Lincoln County and will remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of County Commissioners.
