Between festival days, there is no better place to recharge than right here on the property. The pool and hot tub are open 10AM to 10PM, and after a full day of car shows and live music, easing into the spa feels like exactly the right call. The dog park is open around the clock for the four-legged members of your travel crew.

The bathhouse is clean and available 24 hours. The laundry room runs all day and night (download the PayRange app before you need it). The general store and coffee station are here when you need a quick refresh.

The festival has 10 days of events. You have a fully equipped, comfortable basecamp to come back to after every single one.

Pool season is officially here!

There is a specific kind of afternoon that repeats itself every summer at Amarillo RV Resort. Kids in swimsuits racing from their cottage to the pool gate. Parents pulling up chairs. Someone floating on their back with eyes closed while Route 66 hums in the distance.

The pool is open daily from 9AM to 9PM all season long, and it becomes the heartbeat of the resort from May into summer. Families settle in around it. The hot tub fills up at golden hour. The whole property finds a rhythm that is easy to fall into.

The fitness center, dog park, laundry facilities, and bathhouse are all on-site too, all part of what makes a stay here feel complete rather than just convenient.

What a way to kick off summer at Amarillo RV Resort. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day at the pool had everything you'd hope for. Kids cannonballing off the edge. Neighbors pulling chairs together. The smell of grills going across the loop. A long, easy afternoon that stretched right into one of those Texas Panhandle sunsets the sky puts on for free.

Before the day wound down, we took a quiet moment to remember the men and women who made all of this possible. We're grateful for them, and we're grateful for every family who chose to spend the weekend with us.

The Texas Route 66 Festival kicks off June 4 and runs through June 13, bringing 10 days of classic cars, live music, cattle drives, bus tours, and a Grand Finale celebration on June 13 in Amarillo's Route 66 Historic District.

Meet Roger and his Corgi co-pilot. 🐾

They rolled into Amarillo RV Resort this week and settled into one of our big-rig sites on the west side of town. Roger had this to say after his stay:

"Always a professional front desk. On the west side of Amarillo, CLEAN, concrete level pads, BIG spaces, all good!"

That right there is what we work for. Clean sites, level concrete pads, room to spread out, and a front desk team that treats every guest like family from the minute they pull in.

Coffee at your site. Thirty minutes later, you're standing at the rim of Palo Duro Canyon.

That's how a lot of our families spend their week here. Set up camp, let the kids loose on the playground, then head out for trails and shifting canyon light. Come back tired in the best way, clean up at the bathhouse, and let the kids burn off whatever's left in the clubhouse while you finally put your feet up.

Guests keep telling us the same thing: clean facilities, a team that makes you feel at home from the minute you pull in. We work just as hard on the time between adventures as you do on the adventures themselves.

Saturday morning was a sweet one.

Our Muffins for Moms gathering in the office brought out some of the most wonderful people on the property, and we are so glad they came. Moms with little ones in strollers. Grandmothers on long road trips. A few guests who just wanted to bring a muffin back to their rig for the mom sleeping in.

It was a quiet, warm couple of hours, and it reminded us of something important. The best moments at this resort are not always the big adventures. Sometimes they are just a cup of coffee, a fresh muffin, and feeling like someone thought of you.

Happy Mother's Day to every mom in the Amarillo RV Resort family, near and far. You are seen, and you are appreciated.

Festival week is here and the resort is buzzing. 🎸

Guests pulled in from New Mexico, Colorado, and just across the Oklahoma line. Families who planned this trip months ago are finally unhooking. Vintage trailers are rolling in ahead of the Tin Can Tourists Rally. The dog park stays busy. The pool was packed yesterday. Folks are swapping road stories across the loop until the sun goes down.

This is the week that reminds us why we love what we do. Strangers become neighbors overnight, all here for the same reason: a love of the road, of Route 66, of travel that still feels like the real thing.
