Recently Boyd's Martha Morales, Vice President and General Manager of Valley Forge Casino Resort, was recognized as the official honoree of the 2026 Hospitality Charitable Foundation (HCF) M.E.N.U.S. event in Las Vegas. The Foundation provides scholarships, mentorship and pathways into the hospitality industry for talented hospitality students.

Martha's journey is a powerful example of the life-changing impact of opportunity and education. As a first-generation college student, she received an HCF scholarship that helped make her dream of attending UNLV a reality.

What began as an investment in a student's potential became an extraordinary leadership journey, as Martha became the first scholarship alumnus to serve on the HCF Board of Directors — and was later named Vice President and General Manager of Valley Forge, one of Boyd's largest resorts in the country.

Boyd's relationship with Hawai'i dates back more than 50 years, to the 1975 opening of the California Hotel & Casino. And when our Hawaiian friends needed our help following repeated hurricanes this summer, Boyd was there.

Through our contributions to the Hawaii Food Bank, Hawaii Community Foundation and other Hawai'i non-profits, Boyd has provided nearly $145,000 in direct contributions to storm relief efforts in 2025 alone.
