🌽💙 The 99th National FFA Convention! 💛💙
From checking out the Indy 500 🏁 and Tuttle Orchards 🍎 to touring Ozark Fishery 🐟 and hitting the go-kart track 🏎️, our week in Indianapolis was full of fun, new experiences, and memories we won’t forget anytime soon!

We were also proud to celebrate some BIG accomplishments for the Arickaree FFA Chapter! 🎉

⭐ 2-Star National Chapter Award
🏅 American FFA Degrees earned by two of our members!

But convention was about more than just the tours and awards. It was an opportunity to connect with members from Flagler FFA and across the country, meet new people, and learn from some incredible leaders. Joey’s retiring address was a highlight, reminding us to “trust your worth, even if you can’t feel it.” 💛

Our members returned home inspired by our National FFA Officers and reminded of the importance of leadership, faith, and stepping outside our comfort zones.

Between the crowded expo hall, free swag, fresh apple c***r, fish-filled ponds, and reconnecting with friends, there was something for everyone! 😂

We’re incredibly thankful for the opportunity to attend National Convention, represent Arickaree FFA, and make memories that will last a lifetime. We might be heading home with a little extra schoolwork to catch up on 🫩, but it was worth every minute!

🇺🇸💙 **AMERICAN DEGREE RECIPIENTS! 💛
Congratulations to Raeya Schrock & Gabby Hermes who received their American FFA Degrees at the National FFA Convention! 🎉

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree awarded by the National FFA Organization and recognizes members who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their chapters, Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs), and leadership development.

We are incredibly proud of these members and all the hard work, dedication, and perseverance it took to reach this milestone! Help us congratulate them on this outstanding accomplishment! 👏🐄🌽🌾

⭐ NATIONAL CHAPTER RECOGNITION ⭐
We are proud to share that the Arickaree FFA Chapter was recognized as a 2-Star National Chapter at the 99th National FFA Convention! 💙💛 Lizbeth Ramos & Dayami Sanchez, Arickaree FFA President & Vice President, had the honor to receive this award and walk across the National Stage!

This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our members throughout the year. We are proud of what our chapter has accomplished and look forward to continuing to grow and make a difference in our school and community!

Congratulations to all of our members who helped make this achievement possible! We hope to be right back here next year for the 100th National Convention!

State Range Judging 2026 🌾
Our Arickaree FFA members traveled to Lamar to compete in the State Range Judging Contest! Students put their knowledge of range plants, land conditions, and rangeland management to the test while competing against FFA chapters from across the state.

We’re proud of our members for representing Arickaree FFA, putting in the work, and continuing to grow their knowledge of Colorado agriculture! 💙💛

🌾 Arickaree FFA Farm Safety Day 2026 🚜
What an incredible day of learning, hands-on experiences, and agricultural safety education at Arickaree School! Our Farm Safety Day was designed to teach elementary students the importance of staying safe around farms, ranches, equipment, electricity, emergency situations, and other agricultural hazards. Through interactive stations and presentations, students learned valuable lessons that they can carry with them for years to come! 🦺

A huge THANK YOU to all of our participating schools for bringing their students and making this event such a success! We were excited to welcome 150 students from:

A True Legendary Owl 🦉💛💙
Please join us in congratulating our very own FFA Advisor, Mrs. Beth Ray, on being honored as a Legendary Owl!

This recognition is a reflection of the countless students she’s has inspired, the lives she has impacted, and the dedication she has given to agricultural education, FFA, and our community.

For years, Mrs. Ray has been a mentor, teacher, role model, and a friend. Her passion for agriculture and her commitment to helping others succeed have left a lasting mark that will continue for years to come.

We are incredibly proud to call her one of our own and even prouder to celebrate this well deserved honor!

Did you know a small group can make such a huge difference? Today the Arickaree FFA chapter mowed the Cope Cemetery in preparation for Labor Day. Though we may be “as small as small can be,” our students are carrying on the work this chapter once did with 40 members. A big thank you to those parents and grandparents that lended a helping hand in making sure all equipment was ready for this event.

Always proud of these kids — once again, it’s a good day to be a Bison. 🦬💚
