Overseeding Grass Areas
Hello Golden Vista,

Beginning tomorrow, 10/27/26, we will start the overseeding process in Reflection Park and the area near the South Laundry Room.

Please stay off all seeded areas until November 10 to allow the new grass to establish properly.
During this time, dogs may continue to use the grass area at the entrance to Reflection Park. However, please avoid entering the park itself until the overseeding process is complete.

Neighborhood Watch Program
Hello Golden Vista,

One of the greatest benefits of living in a community is having neighbors who look out for one another. Building connections, staying in touch, and being aware of one another’s well-being can make a meaningful difference in creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment for everyone.
With this in mind, we would like to organize a Neighborhood Watch Program focused on strengthening our community connections, encouraging neighbors to check in on one another, and helping ensure that everyone feels supported and connected.
If you are interested in participating and helping us get this program started, please join us for an organizational meeting:

This meeting will be an opportunity to share ideas, discuss ways we can look out for one another, and explore how a Neighborhood Watch Program could best serve our community.
Our goal is to foster a stronger sense of connection and create a community where neighbors feel comfortable reaching out, checking in, and offering support when needed.
Your participation and input would be greatly appreciated. I hope you will join us as we take this positive step toward building an even stronger, safer, and more connected community.

Poker Chip Crawl...
Golden Vista Poker Chip Crawl

Wednesday October 21, 2026, 2:30 PM. Ballroom | Followed by a Pizza Social, 4:30ish PM, Ballroom

Spend the afternoon visiting your Golden Vista neighbors, collecting poker chips and enjoying a pizza social together. The chip values stay a surprise until everyone returns!

What is Happening: Registration opens, Ballroom • $5 cash due at registration
Pick up your map & information

About 3:00 PM
Head out to the crawl stops. You choose where to go first!

By 4:30 PM
Return to the Clubhouse Ballroom.

Around 4:30 PM
Pizza social • BYOB

After everyone returns
Public chip-value draw, score tally and cash prizes.

How to play
1. Pick up your stop list map and scorecard at registration. Keep your scorecard with you throughout the crawl.
2. Visit the listed stops in any order. At each stop, draw three chips and record their colors on your scorecard.
3. Watch for those opportunities to draw extra chips along the way. Follow the host’s instructions and record any bonus draws.
4. Be back at the Clubhouse Ballroom by 4:30 PM. Allow enough time to return from your last stop.
5. Once everyone returns, a public chip draw will reveal how many points each color is worth. Follow instructions on completing your card.
6. The three highest scores win cash prizes! Prize amounts depend on participation.

Good to know
Your $5 entry payment is due in cash at registration. Entry money collected will be paid out in cash prizes. Bring your own whatever beverage makes you happy for the social.

Keep your scorecard readable, follow the hosts’ directions and give yourself plenty of time to return.

DIRECTORIES AND OFFICE HOURS
Hello GV Residents,

Please take note of two important updates starting today, Monday, October 19:

New Directory Pickup: You can pick up your copy of the new directory from Brandon in the ARC office beginning Monday morning.
Updated Office Hours: Both the Front Office and the Activities Office will begin new operating hours. We will be open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
