Probably one of the most exciting turkey hunts of the year.

One of the best hunts of the season on film. 5 Toms 10 yard shot. Strutting tom jumping on the downed bird. Gary Downard makes a 10 yard shot.

Fall is here and the hunting season is on us. If you or someone you know is an experienced upland dog handler let us know. We are always looking for qualified hunting guides. If you are interested please contact us and we will see what we can do. Must have at least 2 well trained gun dogs. PM us for more details!!

We cannot thank everyone in the community enough that stepped up with so many donations for the people displaced by the fire. We were so happy to be able to help the ones that stayed with us. John and Sheryl Koller for opening up the lodge to the public and helping where they could. Special thanks to Cortney Swanson for getting things coordinated and fielding calls from people looking for their elderly relatives and helping them track them down. Rhonda Cross who also helped everyone coming into the lodge and getting them situated. Tyler and Cierra Cappel for making everyone some wonderful meals. The many that brought us food and drinks who I don't even know. Calls and messages from people asking how they could help us. Would also like to thank our clients that we had in for being so understanding and also helping any way the could. They summed it up best. "We are hear turkey hunting while all of these other folks are wondering if they will have a house to go back to." Perfectly sums up what happened here and why I am so grateful to be a part of this community. Thank you to all of the firefighters, farmers and members of the community near and far for doing what they could to help.

What a beautiful sunrise for opening day of the shotgun turkey season! Very appropriate for the start of the Easter weekend as well! Thank you Jesus for all the blessings you have given us!

Had a great time with the Hansen Crew this weekend even though the weather was more then weird! Good couple of days in Nebraska. Although we did forget the group photos. Thanks Gary for lining it up! See you in November!

I look at this and have to remember how blessed I am to get to see the things I do! I hope 2022 is great for all of our old friends and new! We will be at SCI in Las Vegas Jan. 19th thru the 22nd in Booth 2453. Hope to see you there!!
