This is exactly the kind of weekend we hope guests have here: slow mornings, creekside afternoons, naps on the porch, hot tub soaks, and fires after dark.

It all started with a hike.

After our first hike on the Shope Creek Trails with our son, we fell in love with this little corner of Asheville. Soon after, we began searching for property and dreaming up the modern cabins that would eventually become Modcabins.

Nearly 10 years later, we’ve welcomed thousands of guests celebrating honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, quiet weekends away, and so many other special moments. We’ve poured our hearts into creating places that feel memorable from the moment you arrive. 🫶

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow, I did not want to leave this cozy space! The windows made it feel bigger and waking up to the views of the forest felt nothing less than magical. The space was minimalist without sacrificing comfort, color, or amenities. It was clean with lots of thoughtful, bespoke, quality touches. I felt setup with everything I needed to enjoy my short stay - including s’mores ingredients for the fire pit! The hot tub was full sized and felt so luxurious.
