🦪🎨 Celebrate UGA's Spotlight on the Arts with a visit to The Mighty Oyster by Beth Droppleman, on view Nov. 1–30 at the Georgia Center.

Part of a special showcase featuring artists from Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Artists, Writers and Scholars (AWS) Program, this exhibition explores the beauty, resilience, and ecological importance of Georgia’s oyster reefs through sculpture and painting. The showcase highlights the connections between Georgia’s coast and inland communities, using art as a powerful tool for storytelling, conservation, and public engagement.
