This October, Atlantic City casinos are coming together in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, supporting efforts to raise awareness, encourage early detection and advance breast cancer research. 🩷

Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers in the United States and around the world, making awareness, early detection and continued support for research critically important.

Throughout the month, Atlantic City casinos will show their support in meaningful ways — from lighting up properties pink and hosting fundraisers to making donations and providing on-site mobile mammography screenings.

Atlantic City’s casino community showed up for an important cause this weekend. 💛

Team members representing every CANJ casino property joined the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention’s Community Walk, helping raise $315,000 for su***de prevention, education and mental health awareness.

A special shoutout to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, which, under Mike Sampson’s leadership, continues to be a driving force behind the casino industry’s participation in this important event.

In 2025, New Jersey’s 988 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline contact centers received 104,569 calls—an 18% increase from 2024. At the same time, nearly half of communities faced a shortage of mental health providers.

Atlantic City’s casino industry continues to deliver for New Jersey.

Our 2025 Impact Report, released in partnership with the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality & Tourism of Stockton U (LIGHT), shows Atlantic City casinos generated $1.1 billion in taxes and fees; supported 22,500 jobs; contributed $661.7 million to the Casino Revenue Fund, supporting programs for seniors and individuals with disabilities; invested hundreds of millions in new amenities and experiences and businesses across the Garden State, and more.

On Sunday, September 20, during ***dePreventionMonth, the Atlantic City casino industry will be participating in the Out of the Darkness Walk for the third consecutive year.

The Out of the Darkness Walk is hosted by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in support of the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP).

“The Atlantic City casino industry is proud to stand together in support of a cause that affects so many families in our community – and beyond,” said George R. Goldhoff, President of Casino Association of New Jersey. “Our member properties are committed to giving back to the communities they serve, and participating in the Out of the Darkness Walk is one meaningful way we come together to support mental health awareness, inspire hope, and help save lives.”

The Caesars Foundation of Caesars Entertainment is investing in stronger South Jersey communities.

Through $150,000 in grants to six nonprofits serving Atlantic and Cape May counties, the Foundation is supporting efforts to combat food insecurity, strengthen workforce development, expand housing stability, enhance public safety, and prevent human trafficking.
