Looks like Mother Nature may be throwing a few showers our way this week… but don’t let a little rain ruin your vacation. ☔️

Here are a few ways to still have some fun:

🚲 Go for a bike ride between the showers. A cloudy day can actually be one of the BEST days to explore the village — cooler temps, less blazing sun and plenty to see along the way.

🛶 Take the kayaks out. I mean… you’re getting wet anyway. 😂 Paddle the sound, look for turtles, stingrays & fish and make an adventure out of it!

🌽 Set up co****le under the house or on the covered porch. Add snacks, drinks and a little family competition. Loser does the dishes. 😉

🏄 Grab some body boards or a surfboard. A little rain certainly isn’t going to stop you when you’re already in the ocean!

🌤️ And remember — Hatteras Island weather changes FAST. A rainy morning can turn into a beautiful afternoon before you know it.
