Good things happen when a community comes together!

There’s more to Tico Time than our camping, music, and festivals! ☀️

Through our nonprofit, Pura Vida For Good, we’re working to make a positive impact in our community beyond the resort.

One of those efforts is Animas Recovery House, which provides safe, supportive sober living for people on their journey to recovery in Durango.

After opening their first home earlier this year, we’re now working toward opening a second home and we need our community’s help to make it happen!

We’re raising $75,000 to help purchase and prepare this new home, and every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to opening its doors.

We’re also offering sponsorship opportunities for our upcoming festivals, giving local businesses a chance to support this mission while being part of the Tico Time community.

❤️ An Update from Tico Time River Resort

The recent flooding along the Animas River has significantly impacted the east side of our property. While it’s heartbreaking to see the damage, we are incredibly grateful that everyone is safe. Our community, our people, and their well-being will always come first.

We have experienced some substantial flooding and even lost a yurt (yes, an entire yurt!) that floated down the river inside its plywood storage box. If anyone happens to spot it downstream and can safely help us recover it once conditions allow, we are offering a reward! Please do not enter floodwaters or attempt a dangerous recovery.

🌿 IMPORTANT: Our west-side property is located outside the floodplain and remains unaffected by the flooding.

In the midst of everything, our priority remains supporting our neighbors who have been impacted by this devastating event.

We are continuing to offer FREE accommodations to individuals and families displaced by the flooding. We are also accepting temporary donations of RVs, campers, and travel trailers to help provide shelter for those who have lost access to their homes.

If you have a camper you’re willing to lend, or if you or someone you know needs a safe place to stay, please reach out to us directly.

Our hearts are with everyone navigating the aftermath of these floods. We know recovery won’t happen overnight, but we believe in the strength of this community and the power of showing up for one another.

**Tico Time River Resort is offering FREE stays to individuals and families displaced by the floods.** If you or someone you know is in need of temporary accommodations, please reach out to us.

HAVE A CAMPER YOU’RE NOT CURRENTLY USING?

We’re looking for community members willing to temporarily lend an RV, camper, travel trailer, or motorhome to help provide housing for those displaced by the flooding.

Tico Time is offering space on our property to accommodate those affected, and we’re hoping to connect families in need with people who have campers available to lend.

Whether it’s for a few days, a few weeks, or longer, your contribution could make a meaningful difference while families work toward getting back on their feet.

💙BIG REVEAL!🩵 We’re SO excited to introduce the custom artwork for our next Tico Time Bluegrass Festival, May 21–23, 2027! 🪕🎶

We’re especially thrilled to celebrate the incredibly talented Gabriella Hunter, who has been creating custom artwork for us the past several years!✨ Based in Salt Lake City, Gabriella is a full-time graphic artist whose creativity and talent help bring the spirit of our beloved Bluegrass Fest to life. We’re so grateful to have her as part of our Tico Time family!

Tico Time Bluegrass Festival offers much more than amazing music — it’s about the dedicated community, heartfelt connections, good vibes, and unforgettable memories we all create together. And this fun whimsical artwork captures a little piece of that magic!

We’re so excited to introduce our brand-new bridal suite at Tico Time River Resort! 💍🌿

Our Northern Bungalow is becoming a dedicated bridal suite! A private, comfortable space to get ready with your favorite people, sip ch*****ne, take photos, and soak in all those sweet moments before the ceremony. 🥂🤍

And the best part? You can stay the night, too. 🏡✨ After the celebration winds down, the suite becomes your own cozy retreat right here at the resort.

We’re currently putting the finishing touches on our 2027 wedding packages and are so excited to welcome even more weddings to Tico Time in the year ahead. 💐

🌿 The team behind Tico Time presents Pura Vida Village, a vision for a new kind of residential community along the Animas River.

We imagine a place where thoughtfully designed homes and shared community spaces exist alongside nature, recreation, and opportunities for wellness and connection. We dream of creating a community centered around unity, sustainability, and living in reciprocity with each other.

Pura Vida Village is envisioned as a separate residential community outside of the existing Tico Time campus. Tico Time River Resort and our festival venue will continue operating as they do today, welcoming guests, campers, festivals, and events.

Right now, Pura Vida Village is at the beginning of its journey. We’re looking for conscious investors and partners who want to help make that possible.

This is an opportunity to get involved from the ground up and help shape what Pura Vida Village can become. 🌱

Join us for a weekend of volleyball and karaoke!! 🎤 🏐

We’re keeping the summer fun rolling September 4th & 5th with two nights of games, music, and good times by the river!

🏐 Volleyball starts at 4 PM
🎤 Karaoke starts at 8 PM

Come out for the day or make a whole weekend of it! Admission is included with a Tico Time Day Pass or overnight accommodations. Camp, stay, play, and sing your heart out. 🌙✨
