📝 A gleaming, saucer-shaped object creates an unexpected sight on Bainbridge Island, seemingly crash-landed in a grassy field amidst autumn trees. While most visitors arrive by ferry, this one appears to have taken a more direct, if less conventional, route, with the photographer reporting, “I heard a noise up above, barely leapt out of the way...and WHOOOOOSH!” This playful scene captures the whimsical spirit of Week 44, as the island embraces all the fun and mystery of the Halloween season.

Nidota Nai Yoni -- Let it not happen again.

This is about an historical, moving site on Eagle Harbor. It is an easy visit and offers a good lesson about Island history -- and that of our country. Great place for long walk and a beach visit as well.
